Besides her activity as an actress she also dubbed actresses like Giulietta Masina and Glynis Johns.

She continued her film career from 1948 and she took part in some well-known movies in the 50s.

She appeared soon in front of the camera, the first time for "Fanny Elssler" (1937), but her main activity remained at the theater and therefore it followed a longer interruption after her movie "Legion Condor" (1939) - wish was not finished.

From the 60s she also appeared in numerous TV productions and she was able to remain active as an actress till to the old age.

The actress Ruth Nimbach got an acting education by the well-known couple the actress Julia Serda and the actor Hans Junkermann and in 1936 she made her stage debut at the "Altes Theater" in Leipzig. In the next years she got engagements at different theaters where she impersonated various roles.
