Had his movie debut in 1974 in the movie "Kimen".
Had his debut on stage in 1957, but has worked in theatre since 1954. He was the manager for Rogaland teater between 1982-1986.
He is most known for his role as Helmer in the TV-series "Helmer & Sigurdson" from the 1970's.
Honored by the King in 2001, with the King's medal of merit in gold.
