It's the end of an era for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, as it was announced today at Sdcc during the show's panel that the series has been renewed for a fourth season, but, sadly, it will be the last. In addition to the bittersweet news, a trailer for the upcoming third season was also released, which will take place in Spain and see stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride traverse various regions as they search for a way back home.

It's been a decade and a half since The Walking Dead premiered in 2010, and almost three years since the original show concluded in 2022. However, the universe keeps thriving with several spinoffs.
The AMC hit zombie series has spawned multiple spinoffs, but now only two of them remain: The Walking Dead: Dead City, which follows Maggie and Negan's adventures in New York, and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which continues the fan-favorite character's adventures in Europe. The two series have received mixed reviews, but have continued to be widely popular. Ahead of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3's premiere on Sept. 7, AMC has just confirmed at San Diego Comic Con at Hall H that Carol and Daryl's adventures will officially continue with the fourth and final season.
The new season will premiere shortly, and the cast and executive producers will do their best not to keep fans waiting.

The Walking Dead's Greg Nicotero reveals if The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 will introduce Rick's forgotten family member from the comics. Daryl Dixon season 3 will see Daryl and Carol surviving in Spain. While they'll encounter new faces, the country was also featured in The Walking Dead: The Alien, a spinoff comic focused on Jeffrey Grimes, Rick's brother.
In an interview with ScreenRant's Ash Crossan during San Diego Comic-Con, Nicotero revealed Rick's brother had been talked about while developing Daryl Dixon season 3. However, the executive producer explained there hasn't "been any real interest" in seeing him appear yet. However, he doesn't rule out the possibility in the future. Check out what Nicotero had to say below:
Ash Crossan: The Walking Dead Universe is vast, and I feel like honestly a staple of Comic-Con, like every elevator I've gotten in for the last 13 years, there's a walker in there.

Is there anywhere that Norman Reedus’ titular motorcycle-riding apocalypse survivor won’t go in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon? According to universe head Scott Gimple, the answer is no. We’ve long known that the third season of the uber-popular spin-off will see Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) on their biggest journey yet as they travel to England in hopes of scoring passage back to the United States — or at least what’s left of it. But, their travels won’t be so straightforward, as they’ll embark on a quest that will take them through Spain, where trailers and teasers have foreshadowed most of the action to unfold.
While catching up with TV Insider ahead of the Season 2 finale of The Walking Dead: Dead City, Gimple revealed that there was plenty of uncharted territory and unique personalities set to run into the dynamic duo in the next set of episodes.

Despite ending the main series in 2022, AMC continues to churn out lots of Walking Dead content. And the result has actually been pretty good. Of course, we had The Ones Who Live in 2024, which continued the saga of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). Just recently, we wrapped up the second season of Dead City, which follows unlikely duo Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) as they explore a zombie-infested Manhattan. Franchise boss Scott M. Gimple has hinted numerous times that the wider universe could continue to expand into the foreseeable future.
Perhaps the most impressive spinoff is Daryl Dixon. Focusing on Norman Reedus' beloved character, the series shows a side of The Walking Dead Universe that fans have never seen before. From all-new European cultures and landscapes to different zombie variants, the series offers a fresh new perspective on the post-apocalyptic world. The upcoming...

"First you survive what happened to you, and then you start living again," she says a few seconds later. The Walking Dead spin-off The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (you can read our review of the first season Here) has just revealed that the much-anticipated third season premieres Sunday, September 7th on AMC and AMC+.
The previous two seasons followed Daryl as he washed up, mysteriously, on the shores of France. He was eventually joined by his regular Walking Dead co-star Melissa McBride, who returned as fan favourite Carol. Season three takes our two heroes to Spain as they continue to fight the dead throughout Europe.
Recently, Reedus appeared in Len Wiseman’s John Wick spinoff, Ballerina. Check out this interview clip where he compared the polished action he had to try in that movie to his more rough-and-tumble antics on The Walking Dead.
In addition to Reedus, McBride, and Charrier, the show’s cast includes Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, Eriq Ebouaney, and Manish Dayal.

Season 2 of The Walking Dead : Dead City kicked off with a bang this past Sunday night, continuing the adventures of sworn enemies Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in New York City. While Maggie and her son Hershel were adjusting to life in the Bricks, Negan found himself a prisoner of the Croat in Manhattan. I often assume that filmmakers don’t have a favorite movie within their own oeuvre. That’s like asking a parent to pick a favorite child. Parents are supposed to love all of their kids equally. However, Guillermo del Toro does not love all of his cinematic offspring equally. He has a clear favorite and he isn’t afraid to speak up about it. As it turns out, his most cherished effort is a feature he co-wrote and directed nearly 25 years ago. It’s a Gothic ghost story set in an orphanage.
If you haven’t guessed yet, I’m talking about The Devil’s Backbone. How do I know that the flick is del Toro’s personal favorite? I know because he told me. Well, he told us all via a Twitter (it will never be X to me) post a while back. The auteur creator’s tweet simply reads:...

When Tom Cruise first saw Alejandro Amenábar's film Abre los Ojos (Open Your Eyes) at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival, he and his producing partner Paula Wagner immediately optioned the rights for an English-language remake, recruiting director Cameron Crowe for what would later become Vanilla Sky. But, like most English-language remakes, Vanilla Sky falls short of the original. Following his Goya Award-winning feature debut, Thesis, Amenábar's second feature film, Open Your Eyes, is a dizzying psychological thriller about an attractive, wealthy young man whose life is upended after a car accident that leaves him disfigured. Open Your Eyes explores the depths of the human consciousness, and dreams intertwine with reality as César (Eduardo Noriega) pursues the beautiful Sofía (Penélope Cruz) and tries to remember a crime he swears he didn't commit.

Sometimes, the one thing we want out of movies is for them to play on our emotions, senses, and logical reasoning with enough aplomb and effectiveness to make us feel them in our bones — to physically overwhelm us, tense up our nerves, draw sweat from our palms, make our eyes open wide involuntarily.
No kind of movie does that better than a good thriller, whether we're talking tight, single-location potboilers that keep turning up the heat, mind-exploding puzzle films that make you guess and hold your breath for answers, gritty unsentimental crime capers, deep forays into disturbed and traumatized psyches, or carefully-plotted twist-o-ramas. There are countless great thrillers out there, but, if you're looking for a worthwhile one to queue up on Prime Video, you've come to the right place. Here, we've compiled a list of 15 excellent thriller movies available at no additional charge to U.S. Prime Video subscribers.

It's no secret Arnold Schwarzenegger defined an era of action cinema. From The Terminator (1984) until Eraser (1996), his cool one-liners, incomparable physique, and unique charm dominated the genre. But after over a decade of bangers and a stint as Governor of California, he starred in an unsung action gem that has become a hit on a Tubi. The Last Stand, which brought Arnold back to the big screen after a break from acting, is an unwinking celebration of the hits of his past that simultaneously acknowledges his age and abilities.
Arnie stars as Ray Owens, the sheriff of a quiet Arizona town who must stop an escaped drug kingpin from fleeing to Mexico in a 1000 horsepower supercar with only the help of a ragtag ne'er-do-well and three deputies, played by Johnny Knoxville and Luis Guzman, Jamie Alexander, and Rodrigo Santoro respectively. Elegant in its simplicity, the film never over-complicates what it's trying to do.
