Medea de Novara was born on 18 April 1905 in Triesen, Liechtenstein. She was an actress and writer, known for María Magdalena, pecadora de Magdala (1946), Juarez and Maximillian (1934) and The Mad Empress (1939). She was married to Miguel Contreras Torres. She died on 21 September 2001 in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
