The 1987 Stanley Kurbrick-directed film Full Metal Jacket cements itself as arguably one of the most famous war films of all time and, according to an expert, the film is also very accurate.

It's not uncommon for war films to take liberties with how accurate they are. However, according to former Marine Corps officer and military expert Elliot Ackerman, Full Metal Jacket is incredibly accurate. And a video by Insider, Full Metal Jacket, scores 10/10 in accuracy in Ackerman's opinion. Ackerman analyzed other scenes, including ones from Barry, Generation Kill, Man Down, The Marine, Jarhead, Heartbreak Ridge, Rules of Engagement, A Few Good Men, and Flags of Our Fathers. Ackerman was shown one of the film's most infamous scenes where drill instructor, Gunnery Sergeant L. Hartman, played by R. Lee Ermey, tears into the recruits with a myriad of "creative" insults, among other tactics.

To be co-directed by Jones and Freeman from a script by the latter, Sorority Party Massacre leads Ed O'Ross and Tom Downey will return in Bachelorette Party Massacre to reprise their roles as ‘Sheriff Lumpkin’ and ‘Detective Watts’, respectively. Scheduled to begin production in Los Angeles in January, Savage Mutts centers on Terry "Shotgun" Coburn (Perlman), who after he is released from maximum security prison sets out on a path of revenge and rampage through the criminal underworld, as he seeks out a final confrontation with his brother - a dark and powerful crime boss. Project has been described as being in the vein of Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels.

Sorority girls are always getting themselves in trouble, in film at least. Independent production company Paramyth Films has announced that Ed O'Ross, Shannon Elizabeth, Annabella Sciorra, George Finn and Alessandra Torresani will star in the upcoming film, A Green Story. Written and directed by Paramyth's, Nika Agiashvili, A Green Story chronicles the life of Van Vlahakis, a Greek immigrant who arrived in America with only $22 in his pocket and eventually founded the multi-million dollar green company, Earth Friendly Products.

O'Ross stars as the modern day Vlahakis, who is misdiagnosed with cancer and given two months to live. During this time, he reflects on his early life as an immigrant during the 1950's (played by Finn) and ultimately decides to push himself to the limit by closing one final business deal that will concretize his company's success, even if he is not around to see it.

Co-written by Freeman and Upright Citizens Brigade comedian Korey Hunt, Freeman said of the 64-page graphic novel (which will be published this April through Slumber Vision Entertainment and Diamond Comics), “It's Mean Girls meets Zombieland in a world where the females zombies ate all the men and want nothing to do with the last living female, who just wants to find a friend.”
