Was married to Erich Strenger who was responsible for Porsche's branding campaigns, that includes designing their famous typeface and race victory posters, from 1951 through his abrupt retirement in 1988. She became stepmother to Rolf from his previous marriage. As a result of this marriage, she modelled in a number of Porsche's promotions from the 1960s through to the end of his career including cover appearances of Christophorus, it's official magazine.
