It’s hard to imagine that the ideal audience for the cringe-inducing French romantic comedy “I Love America” will reject its pat life lessons and hacky jokes, partly because Sophie Marceau, playing a single Frenchwoman living and looking for love in Los Angeles, tends to be a more compelling performer than anything that her character does or says on-screen.

“I Love America” also bats at the sort of low-hanging fruit that, given the right mood, could be of interest to anyone who enjoys watching cornball romantic comedies or even the embarrassing but compulsively watchable “And Just Like That…” revival.

Norwegian born actor, Baard Owe, lived for most of his life in Denmark but worked in the entire Scandinavia for over 55 years as an active actor, passed away at the age of 81 due to lungue cancer on Saturday, November 11, in his home in Copenhagen, Denmark. Baard Owe was energetic actor who worked up until the day before his passing. Baard Owe leaves behind his wife Marie-Louise Coninck, and four children, David Owe, Anja Owe, Rebekka Owe and Benjamin Owe. Both his wife and three of their children works as actors in Denmark. "Here we go again." We have yet to feature this fan film, so if you haven't seen it yet - here's you chance. Norwegian filmmaker Martin Sofiedal made a live-action short film based on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune the video game, which is already being adapted into a movie as we speak. His version is a live-action take on a cutscene in the game, and features some impressive work for something made on his own time. The 7-min film is called Uncharted: Ambushed starring David Owe as Drake, Caroline Glomnes Johansen as Elena, with a really stunning score by Roy Westad. Sofiedal recently visited Naughty Dog Games, creators of Uncharted, and got a write up in THR. The film is worth a watch, even if you have seen it before. Enjoy!
