The same woman who taught us, “Surf ki kharidari mein samajhdari hai.” The woman was later known as Ips Officer Kalyani Singh from Doordarshan’s television series Udaan. Kavita Chaudhary breathed her last on February 15, 2024. She died of a heart attack on Thursday, 8.30 pm, and the funeral took place on Friday.

Kavita Ji revolutionized Indian TV with the series Udaan, which she directed and wrote as well. The series was inspired by her elder sister, Kavita Chaudhary, who was the second female Ips officer in the country after Kiran Bedi.

Mumbai, March 9: Actress Shahzahn Padamsee and her father, ad-man Alyque Padamsee, are set to start a drive against eve-teasing. It will be called Izzat Ki Fauj.

The announcement for the initiative was made on International Women's Day Friday.

"My dad Alyque Padamsee and I are going to start a course, which is basically people against eve-teasing, which leads to sexual harassment. It is going to be called Izzat Ki Fauj, and we will be out there fighting all these eve-teasers. Rocket Singh girl Shazahn Padamsee is debuting in Tollywood.  The lucky daughter of ad-guru Alyque Padamsee and pop star Sharon Prabhakar, has a wonderful offer in her kitty.  The offer is from Anjana Productions and she is set to be cased with Ram Charan Tej. The forthcoming film of Charan and producer Naga Babu, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, has been on floors for over a month now. Broken Images, based on Girish Karnad.s A Heap of Broken Images, will be directed by theatre veteran Alyque Padamsee.Shabana needs to master the art of playing one character and also its spirit.
