(February 16 to April 23, 1995) She acted in Deborah Rugin's adaptation of Maxine Hong Kingston's novels, "The Woman Warrior," in presented by the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson at the James A. Doolittle (University of California) Theatre in Los Angeles, California with Kim Miyori and Tsai Chin in the cast. Based on the novels, "The Woman Warrior" and "China Men" by Maxine Hong Kingston. Sharon Ott was director. Ming Cho Lee was scenic designer. Stephen LeGrand and Jon Gottleib were sound designers. Susan Hilferty was costume designer. Peter Maradudin was lighting designer.

Trivia
Nearly died in June 2004 while 6-months pregnant with her first child. The valves in her heart were attacked by an aggressive bacterial infection. She had emergency surgery and both she and her daughter Ima survived.
