- Is currently the only actor to have played the evil, buggy "Oogie Boogie" (The Nightmare Before Christmas) in any official spin-off requiring the use of the character.
- Auditioned for the original Broadway production of "Ain't Misbehavin'" because a friend of his had told him that he looked a lot like honky-tonk legend "Fats" Waller. Page did not know how to play the piano. He ended up winning a Drama Desk award for playing Waller. 25 years later Ken directed his own, down-scaled touring production of the show.
