Even before he became Deadpool in his own superhero series, Ryan Reynolds had a series of successful projects. However, Self/less was not among them.

The sci-fi film premiered in July 2015, one year before Deadpool, and had a promising premise and cast. However, the film bombed at the box office and was plagued with negative reviews. 10 years later, Self/less has a new opportunity to find a new life on streaming, as it's officially heading to Peacock on July 1.

Self/less followed Damian Hale (Ben Kingsley), a business tycoon and billionaire, who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. However, he wasn't ready to give up life, so he managed to transfer his consciousness into a younger body, Ryan Reynolds' Mark Bitwell. After the procedure, Damian takes on a new name, Edward, and starts a new life in New Orleans. However, he gets plagued with disturbing images.

Self/less was originally set for release on Sept.

The Grey's Anatomy season 19 ending saw Teddy, Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital's newly minted Chief of Surgery, collapsing en route to an Or. In the episode's final moments, thrill-seeker Sam Sutton's (Sam Page) aorta fully transected, prompting Teddy to prepare for surgery. However, before Chief Altman was able to perform a thoracotomy or cross-clamp Sam's aorta, Teddy became Grey Sloan's latest patient — a moniker she definitely didn't intend to add to her list.

In an ironic twist of fate,...

There’s Only 1 Way For Grey’s Anatomy To Handle Season 19's Teddy Cliffhanger
Image
Dr. Teddy Altman's cliffhanger ending in Grey's Anatomy season 19 hints at a serious cardiac issue needing resolution in season 20. While Teddy seems poised to survive, her health crisis could provide a perfect opportunity for a big character death in Grey's Anatomy season 20. Grey's Anatomy has struggled with Teddy Altman's narrative, but her condition could lead to a poignant resolution that would benefit the series as a whole.

The Grey’s Anatomy season 19 finale's massive Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) cliffhanger leaves the cardiothoracic surgeon's life hanging in the balance. The newly minted Chief of Surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Teddy develops a painful toothache, which she dismisses as a nuisance rather than a symptom of something more serious. Moments before Teddy scrubs in to perform a potentially life-saving surgery on Sam Sutton (Sam Page), she collapses. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) rushes to his wife's side to resuscitate Teddy, but Grey's Anatomy...

Louise Linton Welcomes Baby Girl With Husband Steve Mnuchin — and a New Rom-Com
Image
With the birth of her daughter on Tuesday, Louise Linton has premiered the first part of what she calls her “double feature.”

“I’m just really delighted,” says the Scottish actress (Cabin Fever), who is married to producer and former Trump administration treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin. The news comes just over a month before the Dec. 12 release of her ribald rom-com Chick Flick, which she wrote, directed, produced and stars in as a bride who leaves her cheating groom at the altar before “diving into the chaos of online dating and then having [her] misadventures go viral,” as she describes the plot of the film, which also stars Sam Page (Grey’s Anatomy, Mad Men).

“It’s kind of a rom-com in the vein of things like Bride Wars, 27 Dresses, Bridesmaids,” adds Linton, who FaceTimed from Austin. “It’s a little bit vulgar, which I also find really funny because I’m British,...

Teddy Will Be Saved & 6 Other Theories About Grey’s Anatomy Season 20 Story
Image
Given the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, fan theories about Grey’s Anatomy season 20’s story won’t go answered for some time. Shonda Rhimes’ enduring medical drama is notably absent from ABC’s fall slate. While a mid-season premiere seems more likely, that also means a shorter season 20. However, at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, fewer episodes don’t equate to less drama, and the season 19 finale certainly set up several compelling threads.

Despite Ellen Pompeo’s departure from the series, it looks like long-time protagonist Dr. Meredith Grey has a reason to crop up during season 20. Meanwhile, Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver), the hospital’s current Chief of Surgery, may be incapacitated — if not worse. From blossoming new relationships to messy endings, Grey’s Anatomy season 20 has a lot to explore both instead and outside the hospital’s operating rooms.

Grey's Anatomy Round Table: Owen vs Link, Lucas' Epiphany & A New Love Triangle
James Pickens Jr., Ellen Pompeo, and Chandra Wilson in Grey's Anatomy (2005)
Link is professionally back in business, but he's competing for Jo's affections with their new patient.

And Grey's Anatomy Season 19 Episode 17 also delivered a self-realization for Lucas, the potential for Helm's return, the department heads coming up with something to address the intern wage gap, and more.

Join former TV Fanatic Meaghan Frey, Grey's Fanatic Joshua Johnson, and Jasmine Blu as they discuss it all.

Were you Team Link or Team Owen regarding taking risks for Sam's surgery?

Joshua: I was Team Link the entire time. Owen brought Link on as a consultant; if he disagreed with Link's surgical plan, he could have gotten a different ortho surgeon.

Whether or not Link was playing it safe because of Tank's death or because it was the smart thing to do, it was his decision to make, not Owen's.

I appreciated that Link didn't let it slide either, with his comment...
