He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1960.In 1963, he plays first role in the movie Un suras in plina vara . Other notable roles in Brigada Diverse în alerta! (1971), Pacala (1974), Fratii Jderi (1974),Toate pînzele sus(1977).
