Who said the holiday season only means happy-go-lucky Christmas films?

Lifetime may be doling out all the heartwarming, sweet family flicks and adorable romances, but if you like your holidays to have a little more murder, then Lmn has you covered.

For those who enjoy watching characters who made it to Santa's Naughty List, It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Murder is the perfect viewing.

Fortunately, Santa came early and delivered us a lovely little clip to provide a sneak peek of what to anticipate in this holiday-themed thriller mystery.

Fret not; there's a dash of romance tossed into the mix if you still need a little loving in your life.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Murder has a great cast starring Christine Prosperi, Elaine Partnow, Travis Burns, Erin Gray, and a Lifetime favorite, Eric Roberts.

The synopsis teases that a successful woman preparing for her business'...

Trailer for Road Trip Indie 'She's in Portland' Discussing Life's Choices
Jeremy Alter, Tommy Dewey, Minka Kelly, Marc Carlini, and François Arnaud in She's in Portland (2020)
"She made me feel hope... I wanted every day to feel like that." Freestyle Dm has released an official trailer for a indie road trip dramedy titled She's in Portland, from filmmaker Marc Carlini. This first premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival earlier this year, and it also played at the Sedona, Sonoma, and Phoenix Film Festivals. She's in Portland follows two men who seemingly admire each other's lives and feel trapped in their own. Wes, tied to his demanding corporate career and his responsibilities to his growing family, extends a work trip to drag his dispirited artist friend Luke up the California Coast to find Luke's "one that got away". Through their travels and conversations, the trip takes a deeper look into life choices, acceptance, and commitment. The film stars Tommy Dewey and Ricco Ross, with Minka Kelly, Vishesh Chachra, Alexis Krause, Robin Gammell, Elaine Partnow, and François Arnaud.

A Woman Gets Locked in a Room with a Bunch of Creepy Mannequins in Short Horror Film Window Dressing
I’ve got a new fun and creepy horror short film to share with you today called Window Dressing. The film comes from director Dave Bundtzen and Flix Horror and this is the description:

Window Dressing is a short horror film about “Danielle (Colleen Kelly) who gets a new job working for Clara (Elaine Partnow) at her clothing store. Danielle is asked to go to the storage room and is locked in the room with what she thinks are mannequins. She soon realizes all too late, that they are something else.”

One of the things that I love about good short film is how the creative filmmaker can tell a cleaver story in such a short period of time. I enjoyed this one and I think some of you will enjoy it as well!

Watch the short below and tell us what you think!

Watch: Creepy Horror Short 'Window Dressing' from Dave Bundtzen
"Looks that Kill and then you Die!" We are excited to debut the latest horror short film made by filmmaker Dave Bundtzen and Flix Horror titled Window Dressing. Last year we featured Bundtzen's two-minute horror film Tap, this time he's giving us a four-minute horror short to enjoy. Starring Elaine Partnow and Colleen Kelly. It's always cool to see how clever and creative filmmakers can be in such a short amount of time. If I was programming a film festival, this short film would play perfectly before Peter Strickland's In Fabric. As always, will be keeping watch on Bundtzen's work as he keeps making more. Watch in full below. Original description: "Window Dressing is a short horror film about Danielle (Colleen Kelly) who gets a new job working for Clara (Elaine Partnow) at her clothing store. Danielle is asked to go to the storage room and is locked in...

A YouTube reviewer investigates a self-help app called I-Lived which purports to make the users’ dreams come true by issuing a few simple goals. Online idiot Josh (Jeremiah Watkins) falls prey to its allure, the app getting him a dream girlfriend and job within but a short amount of time. Logging off, he loses everything. But when he signs back in, the terms and conditions have changed, and Josh finds himself set to lose more than a few Bitcoins.

In this age of Tinder, Grindr and whathaveyou, i-Lived is a timely technological horror story, questioning to what extent we let technology into our lives – particularly where self help and dating apps are concerned. It’s well made too,...

But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over… it’s just getting started.

Oops, wrong synopsis!

Yes, once again mockbuster kings The Asylum cash-in on the release of another Summer blockbuster – in this case the Dwayne Johnson disaster movie San Andreas – with a direct to market title that takes a sliver of the same story and spins their own, low-budget, take on the same subject matter in the...
