- He was a Slovak singer , composer, musician and music producer .
- After graduating from the SVS (gymnasium) , he studied composition with Professor Alexander Moyzes at the VSMU in Bratislava .

- He was in 1968 one of the founding members of the pop-rock band Elán from which he left in 1985 and started a successful solo career.
- In 1987 he received the 'Golden Lyre' for the song "Art of Living" at the Bratislava Lyre festival.
