In the clip attached below, we see Bryan Cranston as Hal from Malcolm in the Middle waking up from a nightmare where he saw himself as Walter White from Breaking Bad. He funnily recalled how he saw a man who looked “like the guy from ‘The Shield’” referring to Dean Norris’ Hank Schrader and “a man child” referring to Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman.

One of FX's most compelling original series in recent years is "Snowfall," which aired for six seasons from 2017 to 2023. The show was led by Damson Idris and chronicled the rise of a black crime family in Los Angeles during the '80s crack cocaine epidemic. More than just focusing solely on the City of Angels, the narrative expanded to explore the CIA's involvement in Nicaragua at the time along with the Mexican drug cartel's activities. A show that improved across each subsequent season, "Snowfall" was another thrilling crime series from FX in a long successful string of them.

Although "Snowfall" has been off the air for several years now, there are a number of similar shows fans can watch to keep those thrills going. From depicting other families involved in drug trafficking to expansive crime sagas, there is no shortage of excellent series tonally reminiscent of FX's long-running hit.

"Beyond the Sea" continued the backwards trend by taking place in an alternate version of 1969 -- one where NASA's gotten much further ahead in the space race.

The main two astronaut characters, Cliff Stanfield (Aaron Paul) and David Ross (Josh Hartnett), are living half their daily lives in a spaceship hundreds of thousands of miles away from Earth. For the other half of their lives, they use a machine that projects their consciousnesses back to Earth, where they're living inside robot clones (called replicas) that feel the same as their regular bodies.

Dennis Iliadis' 2009 revenge film "The Last House on the Left" is about Mari (Sara Paxton), a young woman who, while hanging out with her friend Paige (Martha MacIsaac), is brutally kidnapped by a group of recently escaped prisoners. The prisoners attempt to drive off with their victims, but there is a fracas in the car when Mari and Paige start to fight back, causing them to accidentally crash into a tree. In revenge, the prisoners stab, sexually assault, and then shoot their captives.

Seeking shelter, the prisoners arrive at a local lake house ... not knowing that it belongs to Mari's parents (Tony Goldwyn and Monica Potter). Of course, it's only a matter of time before the latter duo figures out what's happening and discover what the prisoners did to Mari. Will the parents have the temerity and the wherewithal to apprehend or murder their daughter's attackers?

On Friday (June 20), it was announced that the 61-year-old Oscar-winning actor will be starring opposite the 42-year-old Justice League actor in the remake of Highlander.

Highlander was released back in 1986 and followed immortal beings who hunted each other down in order to collect more power. Four sequels were made and three television series were produced.

Exclusive: Dark Star Pictures has acquired North American distribution rights to The Wilderness, a thriller written and directed by Spencer King (Nickels) and produced by Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) and Amy Berg (Deliver Us From Evil).
