Philip will hide Xander’s involvement in nearly getting rid of him for good, but any agreement they make might lead to repercussions.
Speaking of repercussions, Ej Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel) will continue to try to protect Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) from them, but he will become more worried.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal fans are frustrated at no scenes with Shane and Andrew Donovan in them together recently.
Both were back in Salem through the search for, injury of and death and funeral of John Black (Drake Hogestyn), why no father and son scenes?
Andrew And Paul Are Getting Married
In spite of, or perhaps because of Paul Narita’s (Christopher Sean) father’s death, Andrew decided this was the time to propose marriage, and Paul accepted. Now there will be a wedding planned, and most certainly certain family members will be expected to be there.
Paul may have wanted John to be a best man, but obviously that cannot happen now-more than likely, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will step up in John’s place.
But what about Andrew’s father Shane, and his mother Kimberly Donovan (Patsy Pease) and sister Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien...

John Black’s family and friends gathered to say goodbye to the grandfather, father, husband, friend, and hero. A nervous Eric will officiate the ceremony. In the Monday, June 9 episode of Days of Our Lives, the memories of John flowed. So did a couple of interesting developments and conversations.
Goodbyes and Arrivals
Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) returned for John’s funeral and he had a touching reunion with Marlena (Deidre Hall). It was great to see him, although it would have been nice to see Kimberly (Patsy Pease), too.
Other than that, there were great photos of John on display, and Steve (Stephen Nichols) brought over some mementos that would help his friends and family feel his presence there. Rachel (Alice Halsey) talked about going to a Cubs game with her grandpa.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) reflected on how important John was to him, especially when he was growing up. With Roman...

Ej Dimera’s Amends
On Wednesday, March 24, fans will see Ej try to make amends. However, there’s not much he can say or do.
One thing that Ej might try is to secure the adoption of Sophia and Tate’s baby for Chanel Dupree-dimera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman).
Of course, Ej’s usual tricks and deals won’t fly with Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson). Could Amy convince Ej to distance himself from Johnny and Chanel’s lives? If so, then Janel just might still have...

Fans already know that Hogestyn passed away, but the soap had the late actor’s seal of approval of John’s exit storyline.

Maggie name-dropped Vivian Alamain in the Wednesday, March 19 episode of Days of Our Lives. She volunteered at Statesville and ran into the woman who talked to her about Philip. In addition, Theresa and Joy may have both exited Salem, and Xander stumbled and eavesdropped his way into having the wrong idea.
Goodbyes and Lies The Lies and Lies of Omission
Apparently, Vivian (Louise Sorel) approached Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and mentioned how pleased she was that the letter enabled Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) to stake out a claim at Titan. And she also said she was glad she was able to forge a new relationship with Philip. She actually used the word “forge.” This tells us that Vivian’s not completely out of the game here. She may well reveal the truth whenever she wants.

It’s not just Shane’s phone call, but Kimberly Brady (Patsy Pease) has been mentioned multiple times recently.

Theresa made her version of amends to Xander and Alex in the Tuesday, March 18 episode of Days of Our Lives. Kayla and Roman tried to distract themselves from this situation where John was missing. Philip got Joy to rethink quitting Titan. Marlena and Steve were on a mission to get vital information from Shane. All in all, after watching this episode, we realized we had more questions than answers.
Five Questions #1 What will Xander do with what he overheard?
For some reason, Philip (John-Pau LavoisierI) asked Stephanie (Abigail Klein) to talk somewhere more private than The Pub, and they ended up on the bench in the middle of Horton Town Square. How private is that?
Again, for some reason, Philip kept re-asking Stephanie if she would keep his forged letter secret. It came as no shock to us that Xander (Paul Telfer) overheard part of their conversation. He overheard them...

Days of our Lives has lost another icon, and Susan Seaforth Hayes penned a loving tribute to the show’s former composer, Martin Davich.
Music to Remember
Davich’s musical talent spanned shows like ER and Southland, as well as General Hospital. He even composed the title track to the Gh spin-off Port Charles. But one show his music was best known for was Days, where he not only composed several tracks, but even appeared on screen as a piano player at Doug’s Place named Marty.
Seaforth Hayes (Julie) took to Instagram to announce the passing of her lifetime friend and former castmate. “Marty Davich was our piano man in the golden years of Days music. Often on camera, rarely with dialogue, he spoke through the themes he played,” the actress wrote. “Always perfect, always ingenious, always beautiful… just like the man.”

I never thought Shane Donovan would grace our screens again.
His son Andrew is a welcome replacement, leading Isa missions in Shane's stead and trying to find out what his troublemaker of a sister is up to.
But according to spoilers on Days of Our Lives, during the week of 9-18-23, Shane will show up at Theresa's door, eager to straighten out his wayward daughter.
Shane's visit is a welcome surprise. It's a shame Kim isn't with him too, but Patsy Pease may not have been available or interested. In any case, I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth.
As long as Theresa and Andrew are both on canvas, at least one of her parents should be, and some of Shane's best work in the past has been in confronting her about her misbehavior.

Armand Mastroianni's 1980 "He Knows You're Alone" might have borrowed a number of shots from John Carpenter's 1978 film "Halloween." It might have drawn from that movie's score, and it might have conceived of its unstoppable villain in a similar way. But it doesn't deserve to be left in the margins of the '80s slasher movie boom, especially given that it isn't a lesser entry in the genre.
Despite the movie being a decent-sized hit at the time of its release, grossing nearly $5 million per BoxOfficeMojo, it has largely been forgotten, outside of an early Tom Hanks appearance as a jogger. Compared to the best-known entries in the slasher subgenre of horror, there wasn't any kind of easy iconography to get absorbed into mainstream pop culture. Its relatively low budget means that there's fairly limited coverage and occasional bits of technical cost-cutting. But there's a strong sense of dread throughout,...

Following the horror juggernaut that was Halloween (1978), major studios were very interested to hop in bed with stalk and slay splatterfests. When the Paramount distributed Friday the 13th (1980) looked to be muy lucrative, the big boys jumped hard on the mattress to see how much coin they could dislodge. MGM was no different, and made their claim with He Knows You’re Alone (1980), a film that ultimately survived the dog pile with winning characterizations over slavish Carpenter imitations.
Filmed in December of ’79 on Staten Island and released at the end of summer, He Knows You’re Alone made nearly $ 5 million for MGM against a meager $ 250,000 budget. A tidy profit to be sure, but it was recognized by most critics (and horror fans alike) as a messy pastiche of everything that worked about Halloween but operating with a lot less wattage. I think that’s only partially true – He Knows actually manages to create memorable characters,...
