A Young Jack Black Starred In A Classic Action Series With Lee Majors
Image
On ABC's 1980s action series "The Fall Guy," Lee Majors played Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who, as a side-hustle, worked as a freelance bounty hunter. His experiences with stunt driving made him well-suited to track down bad guys, and his constant exposure to danger gave him an appealing devil-may-care attitude. He was often aided by fellow stunt performers Kid (Douglas Barr) and Jody (Heather Thomas). Majors himself sang the theme song. The "Fall Guy" IP was eventually revived decades later when director David Leitch adapted the premise into a big screen Hollywood blockbuster starring Ryan Gosling. The 2024 "Fall Guy" movie was spectacular, by the way.

In the "The Fall Guy" episode "Old Heroes Never Die", Colt becomes embroiled in criminal malfeasance with an old baseball star named Ron Perkins (Paul Winfield). Perkins was once a star player but has since fallen on hard times and is now $50,000 in debt...

TV Review: The Mentalist 5.8, ‘Red Sails in the Sunset’
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

It’s official. After over four years of speculation, we now know for a fact that Red John is a character we’ve already seen on The Mentalist (at least that’s how I read it). Or as Jane (Simon Baker) said in the episodes closing moments, “he’s someone I know.”

I wasn’t surprised at all that Jane was attempting to break Lorelei (Emmanuelle Chriqui) out of prison. It’s well documented the lengths he’s willing to go to in order to catch Red John, if he didn’t make that clear back when he shot a man dead, then it’s time for you to reevaluate your thoughts on the character.

The Mentalist once again delved into its endless pool of brilliant guest stars, this time bringing back Brett Stiles (the magnificent Malcolm McDowell) for his fourth appearance on the show, albeit for one scene.

'Heroes' Co-Executive Producers Off From Their Duties
Rating and margin problems that revolve around NBC's science fiction series, "Heroes", go further by the axing of the series' co-executive producers off from their duties. It has been exclusively reported by Variety that Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb are leaving the three years old series that they have been working on since the first season.

In the production of the series, both Alexander and Loeb were working together as the show's writers as well as producers, leading the production operation under the direction of Tim Kring, the series' creator and executive producer. Loeb is expert in his field, creating stories or characters as he has done in comic books "Batman", "The Hulk", and "Superman For All Seasons". Meanwhile, Alexander has rolled the same position as co-executive producer in "Lost" and "Alias".

It is believed that the losing of Alexander and Loeb is caused by Peacock execs' frustration with the creative direction of the show.
