Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene inaugurated the Short Film Center at Goa on Thursday. Chief Minister of Goa Digamber Kamat, Sanjay Srivastava, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Goa and Manoj Srivastava, CEO, Entertainment Society of Goa were present for the inaugural ceremony.
The Short Film Center which is a business platform for short filmmakers will be open from the November 24 to December 1, 2011.
The Short Film Center Jury for the International Competition section is Basu Chatterji, Fiona Lawson-Baker, Yann Piquer and Giogio Franchini and for the Vasudha Award Competition section–Sivan, Krishnendu Bose and Alka Tomar.
