Despite their insane promos and intros, from a wrestling perspective, it is easy to say their WrestleMania performances, even with a great atmosphere, left little to no impact. All Elite Wrestling (Aew) and its weekly Wednesday night show “Dynamite” are set to pass a major milestone in the pro wrestling world.

The April 16 episode of “Dynamite” on TBS will mark the show’s 289th, meaning it has officially aired longer than the 288 episodes produced by WCW’s “Monday Nitro,” which aired on fellow Turner network TNT from 1995-2001.

Brennan Lee Mulligan has shown “Dimension 20” viewers countless new worlds as the dungeon master of Dropout’s tabletop actual play series, but now he’s stepping into a new realm: professional wrestling.

The latest season of “Dimension 20,” “Titan Takedown,” is a four-episode side quest that swaps Mulligan’s usual crew of comics and D&d aficionados for a quartet of WWE wrestlers: Bayley, Chelsea Green, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods/Austin Creed.

It has not been a great time for young, funny superheroes like Invincible’s Rex Splode and Marvel’s Spider-Man. While the former faced a terrible fate in the latest season, the Spider-Man comics seem to be out to get Peter Parker and stop him from being genuinely happy in his life. This was confirmed by comic book writer and editor Tom Brevoort.

Brevoort, who is currently the editor for the X-Men comics, was reportedly asked about Marvel’s editorial guidelines and how much freedom writers have when writing legacy characters. But let’s be real, sometimes, WWE gets way too wild. We’re talking about the kind of brutality that makes grown adults wince and question their life choices.

Now, we all love John Cena. He’s the walking embodiment of hustle, loyalty, and respect. He makes kids believe in never giving up, all while wearing neon-colored t-shirts and jorts. But there was a time, specifically at WWE Judgment Day 2005, when the whole “PG Hero” thing didn’t exactly apply. And let’s just say, if you were a kid watching this back then, you either became a hardcore wrestling fan for life… or needed therapy.

WWE history is filled with fights that turned serious and went off-script. One such example is when Randy Savage, also known as Macho Man, and Jake Roberts came face to face on October 21st, 1991.

Jake Roberts was never a fan of Macho Man, but things exceeded limits when, during a televised segment of WWF, Roberts unleashed a de-venomized cobra on Savage.

The 2025 Royal Rumble is a prominent shift for WWE. This year, for the first time ever, Netflix is striding into the ring as the official home for a WWE live event in many countries. That means, depending on where you live, you might be watching the action in a totally new way.

WWE fans knew major changes were coming when, earlier this month, Netflix made a massive $5 billion deal to take over as the exclusive home of Monday Night Raw. After rising to the top in the world of professional wrestling, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson became an even bigger star when he made the transition to Hollywood. Nia Jax, a current WWE star and a second cousin of Johnson's, doesn't see herself making the same move.

Jax addressed a possible career switch to acting in Hollywood during a recent interview with Screen Rant. For her part, Jax feels comfortable with performing live as one of the stars of WWE, and as a "wrestling diehard," she's not confident she could be just as successful with an acting career. She then shared that if she were to have her pick of any superhero role, she'd have to go with Wonder Woman.

O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Eric Andre were among the many arena-goers that booed Hulk Hogan during Netflix’s WWE show “Monday Night Raw” event on Jan. 7.

Speaking with the “Sway’s Universe” video podcast on Monday, Jackson revealed he attended the WWE event the week prior and added his voice to the many who were not happy to see Hogan make an appearance during the show.

“I was one of them. I’ll show you the video,” Jackson said. “Me, Eric Andre and Wale were giving it to him!”

When asked why they joined the booing crowd, Jackson was quick to answer.

“The racism, bro. It’s just hard to forget how detailed that rant was,” he said. “If you look up his rant, it’s very detailed. I get a lot of people online who are like, ‘Well, he would be mad if he found out about that whole generation!

WWE legend Hulk Hogan cuts a very different figure now compared to his incredible heyday as one of the most colorful characters in wrestling, and his “surprise” appearance on Monday Night Raw, which premiered on Netflix on January 6, proved that he cannot quite connect with a crowd like he used to. Entering the show after around two hours, the Hulkster was greeted with a wall of boos, which certainly stood out from the rest of the night's proceedings...but not in a good way.

It is a long time since Hogan had the majority of WWE fans on his side, thanks to a series of controversies. His fall from grace began in 2015 when a leaked video tape showed him making racial slurs and other racist remarks. This led to him being removed from the WWE Hall of Fame until 2018, when he was reinstated after making what many called “insincere” apologies over his behavior.

WWE fans at the first episode of “Monday Night Raw” on Netflix cheered loudly for many of the wrestlers who made special guest appearances… but were apparently not happy at all when Hulk Hogan showed up.

The sport’s first pop culture superstar showed up at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles to promote his Real American Beer, a new beer brand named after Hogan’s famed entrance theme by Rick Derringer. Earlier on Monday, WWE announced a multi-year partnership with Hogan for the new beer, adding its logo to the ads placed on the ring mats and even buying an ownership stake.

But when Hogan walked out at “Raw” alongside fellow ’80s WWE star Jimmy Hart, the initial cheers for his entrance theme from a portion of the crowd quickly gave way to even louder boos and expletive-filled chants as Hogan took the mic.
