Jennie Garth, star of Beverly Hills, 90210, actually didn’t love returning for The CW’s reboot years later.

The actress, who reprised her role as Kelly Taylor in 90210, which ran from 2008 to 2013, shared that she regretted participating in the remake during a recent panel at ’90s Con in Florida. “I wish I hadn’t done it. No offense to them,” she said, via People.

“The producer was a friend of a friend, and I remember he came over in my living room, sat me down, [billed it as] this chance of a lifetime. He asked me to do it and I didn’t know how to say no then,” Garth added. “But the people were very nice and all the best to them.”

Garth, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling were the only original actors to return for 90210, which starred Shenae Grimes-Beech and AnnaLynne McCord and followed wealthy kids at West Beverly Hills High School.

Late last year, the actress launched a memoir-style podcast, Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty, a vehicle which she used to inspire others. In an interview about it with People, she remained defiant.

Everything came full circle on BH90210 Season 1 Episode 6, and it was the right ending to a first season that was overall a treat from start to finish. 

With the pilot done and sent off for review, the waiting game has begun. And while they waited, relationships were put to the test. 

The best part of this parody/reunion/reboot has been seeing the actors we grew to love back together again.

It's been a very nostalgic experience, and while the nods to the original series have been amazing, this iteration was much better than any reboot they could have conjured up. 

It's been fun and silly in a way that the original never was, and it's been lighthearted summer fare. And isn't that what we want in the summer?

BH90210 Season 1 Episode 3 saw the gang back together on the set of the all-new Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot. But it didn’t take long for all hell to break loose.

With everyone but Shannen officially on board, it was time for the group to get some therapy. And their therapist knew them all very well.

It’s lovely to see this new version of Beverly Hills, 90210 incorporate past actors into the fold. And bringing them back outside of just reprising their roles in the reboot was genius.

Christine Elise is killing it as the domineering, yet helpful Fox executive. And Carol Potter was a welcome addition as the therapist who was to help the group with their many issues.

The first session went about as well as anyone would expect, with little to no cooperation from anyone and a lot of finger-pointing.

In a last-ditch effort to get her reboot off the ground, Tori Spelling turned to a pair of Walshes — one far more helpful than the other — on Wednesday’s BH90210.

Plan A was to have Carol Potter (aka Mama Walsh), now a licensed therapist, help the cast work through its issues — everything from the show’s writer getting Jason Priestley’s wife pregnant to Jason having a one-night stand with Jennie Garth in Vegas.

On BH90210 Season 1 Episode 3, Tori realizes that she needs to get Shannen on board with the reboot if it stands a chance of being a success.

That's why she finds herself on a wild goose chase to find her former co-star, but they will be able to put the past behind them?

If you've been keeping up to speed with the series, you know that Shannen has mostly stayed away from her former cast members.

On BH90210, she appeared via video link at the reunion, leading to some of the cast members to look a bit confused about why she was going to those lengths to avoid them.

Back in Beverly Hills, Jason is stunned to learn that the man who has been shacking up with his wife is writing the series premiere of the reboot.

Well, folks, it looks like we’re getting a reboot after all.

It’s just not coming in the way many fans hoped it would.

BH90210 Season 1 Episode 2 sets the stage for a continuation of the 90210 story, as the cast weighs the pros and cons of stepping back into the world of Beverly Hills.

Much has been made about this adaptation of the series, with many split on how to feel about seeing the actors play themselves, but not really.

Many people were looking for a traditional reboot, and while we aren’t getting that traditionally, we may see a bit of our favorite characters on this reiteration after all.

Tori’s mission is to get everyone on board with the reboot, and while it may seem like a no brainer, it winds up being a lot harder than she anticipated.

BH90210 is the biggest show of the summer -- both in terms of ratings and scale.

The decision to feature the cast members as heightened versions of themselves has proven to be a good idea for the most part.

On BH90210 Season 1 Episode 3, titled "The Photo Shoot" and airing August 21, Carol Potter will make her return to the franchise.

Carol Potter played Cindy Walsh in the 1990-2000 original series, but this time, she'll be playing "herself."

But what brings Potter into the fold?
