Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis Launches Canned Coffee Brand
Image
Red Hot Chili Peppers vocalist Anthony Kiedis has followed in the footsteps of Green Day by launching his own coffee brand.

The company is named Jolene, an amalgamation of the phrases “cup of Joe” and “lean latte” (the latter of which refers to a latte without whole milk), while also referencing Dolly Parton’s iconic song. Co-founded with Kiedis’ longtime friend Shane Powers, the brand offers two varieties of canned coffee: Black (cold brew) and White (oat milk latte).

Jolene sources its beans from an all-female co-op in Peru, aiming to ensure “high-quality beans while directly supporting the women growers and their communities,” according to a press release.

Kiedis and Powers have partnered with Live Nation, which will act as both an investor and distributor of Jolene at festivals and 40 of its venues. In addition to the canned offerings, the concert promoter will feature the coffee in four signature cocktails.

When the 40th season of Survivor aired, it was designed for fans of Jeff Probst's beloved reality show who were no longer worried about which seasons to watch first. Instead, Survivor: Winners at War was meant for the kind of fans who can rank the seasons, recognize who the best players are, and know who the first person to be medically evacuated was. One of Survivor: Winners at War's players, Wendell Holland, has a history of being involved with other players. Survivor's Shane Powers And Aras Baskauskas Found Something Shocking During The Game
Image
When people get chosen to compete in Survivor, they typically have a pretty good idea of what to expect, at least in theory. For example, Survivor players who've seen enough seasons to rank them all will know that they might have to deal with dangers that could get them medically evacuated. Even new fans who are still figuring out which seasons to watch first also know that people who play Jeff Probst's beloved reality show will have to compete against great players.

However, there have been some Survivor players who've had to deal with things that absolutely nobody would have expected. A perfect example of that is the fact that Survivor: Panama's Shane Powers and Aras Baskauskas once stumbled across something extremely illegal while they were playing the game.

“He feels threatened I’ll take his job”: 1 Survivor Contestant Said “Egomaniac” Jeff Probst is Terrified of Him

Survivor has been leveling up its game in every season, all thanks to showrunner Jeff Probst. The host has worked consistently in order to keep the show as thrilling and gruesome as he can. While some of his decisions have enjoyed public opinion, others have failed to capture what he intended to do in the first place. However, even this couldn’t shake the love and respect he has for the show that basically gave him the career push he needed.

Looking Back on the Two ‘Lost Boys’ Sequels That Time Forgot
Image
The Lost Boys wasn’t just a massive box office success, it was also a game-changer in vampire media, making the undead hip again and convincing a whole generation that they too could become juvenile vampire hunters (though I know a lot of people who wouldn’t mind joining Kiefer Sutherland’s punk-rock group of dreamy Nosferatu).

And as is often in the case in Hollywood, the film’s near-instant popularity meant that the studio was immediately interested in a follow-up, with director Joel Schumacher even coming up with a pitch titled “The Lost Girls” meant to follow a different tribe of female vampires. Of course, we all know that this project never materialized, and fans were forever left to wonder about what a proper Lost Boys sequel might look like. Or were they?

What a lot of horror fans don’t realize is that we actually did get not...

5 Old-School Survivor Stars Who Deserve A Second Chance
Image
There have been many returning players on Survivor over the years, but there are several deserving old-schoolers who have yet to get a second chance at the game. "Old-school" Survivor players are considered those who played in the early seasons of the show. Though there isn't an exact cutoff between the old and new-school game, the pre-Survivor: Gabon standard definition seasons are typically considered to be the old-school era.

Survivor has held many returnee seasons with various themes, like All-Stars, Fans vs. Favorites, Game Changers, and Winners at War. There's only been one Second Chance season, however, Survivor: Cambodia in 2015 was the only season so far to feature a fan vote to decide the cast, and the pool of returning players consisted of contestants who had only played the game once. There are still many one-time players who should get another shot.

And did they even consider bringing back bad boy-turned-quitter Jonny Fairplay? We went straight to the source for the answers: Jeff Probst.
