- He is credited with inventing and marketing the executive toy "Newton's Cradle" which consists of a row of metal balls each suspended by two V-shaped wires from parallel overhead beams; if one or more balls are pulled back and released so they strike the remaining balls, the same number bounce off the other end of the row, illustrating Newton's "Conservation of Momentum" and "Conservation of Energy" principles.
