Two Of Maggie Smith's Best Performances Came In Underseen Classics
Image
Like most people without easy access to the West End and Broadway, I did not get the full measure of Dame Maggie Smith's genius as a performer. This is true of many great actors who found their way to film and television from the boards, and it is why I am often reluctant to enter arguments over or make lists ranking the greatest actors of all time. 10 Best British Movies That Don't Take Place in London
Image
Generally, if a movie is set in England, it will take place in the capital city of London. London is home to 8,000,000 people and houses most of the well-known UK landmarks: Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the Shard, and so on. While big blockbuster movies tend to stick to London, other areas of Britain have more personal and intricate stories told about them. They have the added effect of teaching people about lesser-known areas of the United Kingdom.

The Pitch: Young Mary Lennox (Kate Maberly) is an orphan. In the aftermath of their death, she's sent to live with her estranged uncle, Lord Archibald Craven (John Lynch), in his enormous mansion in the English countryside. The Yorkshire estate, Misselthwaite Manor, is dark and brooding, teeming with her family's long-held secrets of sorrow and loss.

Watch Controversial BBC Sketch 'Real Housewives of Isis'
Revolting (2017)
A new BBC sketch comedy show Revolting spoofs a Bravo franchise and terrorist group in its first episode in "The Real Housewives of Isis." Another quips, "It's only three days until the beheading, and I've got no idea what I'm going to wear!"

The crux of the sketch is an awkward scene in which Zaynab (Anjli Mohindra) models a new suicide vest for her friends,...
