In a heartfelt tribute, Blue Bloods has announced a special television event that will reflect on the 293 episodes of this beloved series.

Titled Blue Bloods: Celebrating A Family Legacy, this special will air just after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 29. This paves the way for the final two episodes to be released in December, bringing the iconic Reagan family saga to a close.

Blue Bloods is sharing details on the series finale that may make fans worry about some characters!

It’s the end of an era on December 13 as, after fourteen seasons and 293 episodes, Blue Bloods signs off. While fans (not to mention the actors) would love for it to continue, it seems the show is going to end its long run with a special tribute before the finale.

Fans have been dealing with the show ending for almost a year, but more theories have come to light with the series finale on the horizon.

One Blue Bloods fan theory running wild is that a beloved character will be killed off in the series finale.

The trailer for this batch of Blue Bloods episodes got the rumor mill buzzing that Eddie’s (Vanessa Ray) partner, Luis (Ian Quinlan), dies, and it also confirmed that a funeral does happen.

While Luis’ death would have an impact, he is not a beloved character or member of the inner Reagan family circle.

Netflix released a trailer for its upcoming superhero series “Jupiter’s Legacy,” premiering globally on May 7.

The show follows the children of the first generation of superheroes, hungry to prove their worth but struggling to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputations. The cast features Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels, Leslie Bibb, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike Wade, Matt Lanter and Ian Quinlan. Mark Millar, Frank Quietly, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Dan McDermott, Steven S. DeKnight, James Middleton and Sang Kyu Kim executive produce.

Netflix released the first trailer on Wednesday for Mark Millar’s “Jupiter’s Legacy” series, starring Josh Duhamel as an elderly superhero.

Based on the series of graphic novels by Millar and Frank Quitely, the eight-episode adaptation centers on the second generation of superheroes, who “struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputations — and exacting personal standards.”

Duhamel stars as Sheldon Sampson, a.k.a. The Utopian, the leader of the first generation of heroes who, according to the trailer, has been on the job for nearly a century and only has a terrible relationship with his kids to show for it.

Leslie Bibb, Ben Daniels, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike Wade, Matt Lanter and Ian Quinlan also star.

In today’s TV news roundup, Netflix unveiled the trailer for its superhero drama “Jupiter’s Legacy,” and ESPN set the premiere date for docuseries “GOATs: The Greatest of All Time.”

ESPN will debut three-part docuseries “GOATs: The Greatest of All Time,” exploring star athletes through the lens of veteran sports photographer Walter Iooss, March 7 at 8 p.m. Directed by Kevin Kaufman, the series will celebrate some of the world’s greatest athletes, featuring exclusive interviews with Kobe Bryant, Joe Montana, Derek Jeter, Tiger Woods, Joe Namath, Chris Evert, Ken Griffey Jr., Jack Nicklaus, Caroline Wozniacki and Kelly Slater. The series is produced by Kaufman Films in association with Transform Films & Royal Ventures Studios. Kaufman will executive produce, along with Beth Fraikorn and Joe Dimuro. At first glance, comics would appear to be the easiest print medium to adapt into a visual medium like film or television. But as we all know from decades spent watching comic book adaptations that’s not always the case.

There are bound to be subtleties of art, lighting, and movement that visual media could misinterpret or outright miss. With its latest comic adaptation, and its first project from Millarworld, Netflix looks to be striving for as close a visual adaptation as possible. Jupiter’s Legacy will be based on the comic book series of the same new from Mark Millar and artist Frank Quitely. Based on a new first look from Netflix, Quitely’s art will be a major presence on the live-action series. Check out the video below to see what we mean.
