The Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Orlando Odditorium has acquired a life-size statue of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator that doubles as a tribute to the film industry and its biggest stars. The piece, by artist Enrique Ramos, took five months to create and uses a variety of media — “even a real vampire bat!” says the release — and will be accompanied by a motorcycle when it moves to Ripley’s Hollywood Odditorium later this year. Edward Meyer, Ripley’s VP of Exhibits and Archives, describes the statue as Ramos’ opus, “his 9th Symphony — both in complexity, detail, and historic scope.
