The Outlander universe is back with another addition. This time, it is called Blood of My Blood, and it’s a prequel series that explores the romantic origins of Claire and Jamie Fraser‘s parents. The backdrop for this series is the Scottish Highlands and England in the times of World War I.
It is a historical romance drama that would be a love parallel across times. The makers are so sure of the script, that they have already announced a season two before the debut of season one of the show. Season 1 is confirmed for August 2025, and anticipations for it runs high. Here is everything you need to know about Outlander: Blood of My Blood.

Starz’s Outlander prequel series has cast younger versions of four familiar characters.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood, as the offshoot is titled, will explore the lives and relationship of Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie (played by Pennyworth‘s Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Condor’s Nest‘s Jamie Roy) and Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston (We Hunt Together‘s Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Treadstone‘s Jeremy Irvine). The series will center on these two parallel love stories set in two different time periods, with Jamie’s parents in the early 18th century Scottish Highlands and Claire’s parents in WWI England.

It seems one of the increasing horror trends of late is the horror anthology. An often hit or miss fad, the horror anthology can either be a well thought out and executed 75 minutes (Black Sabbath) or the most boring and pointless 75 minutes of your life. This brings me to Deadtime Stories, which I’m sad to say is volume 1. I shudder to think of a Volume 2 rearing its face in the near future.
Don’t let the fact that George A Romero produced this sway you into thinking it’s secretly good. In fact I hope and pray to the Baby Jesus that George A. Romero didn’t really know or understand what was going on. Thankfully, there is good evidence suggesting that as all of Romero’s intros to...
