- Raised in Bastia Umbra, in 1990 she won the Miss Teenager beauty contest, reserved for underage girls. After finishing high school, she enrolled in the "Scaletta" acting school in Rome. Shortly thereafter she was cast in her first leading role in the 1995 film Fermo Posta Tinto Brass.
- After her experience with Tinto Brass, Cinzia played the role of Ubalda in Mariano Laurenti's 1996 remake of Chiavi in mano and was the protagonist of the film La iena by Joe D'Amato. She later moved to Los Angeles, where she continued to study acting by enrolling at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and earned a bachelor's degree at the University of California at Los Angeles.
