‘Breathless’ Season 2 Theories And Expectations: Who Has May’s Child?
Image
Spanish-language medical soap Breathless delivers pretty well on the melodramatic super-emotional front. It’s got a great cast that makes you feel like you’re in the room with them struggling to make sense of how to deal with the life-and-death situation at hand. But when it comes to shows like this, you can’t just give us 8 episodes and be done with it. Rather than a limited-edition trendy product, it’s more a luxurious silk that’ll last you a lifetime; quite literally. I mean, look at Grey’s Anatomy, still stronger than ever as an old woman. She’s a giver. But with that said, the end of Breathless leaves many plot lines unfinished. Two major factors include Jesica’s stabbing and Patricia’s massive decision, and then there’s things like Oscar’s overdose and the fate of the hospital as a whole. While nothing has been confirmed just yet,...

‘Breathless’ Recap (Episodes 1-8) Explained: Is Jesica Dead Or Alive?
Image
The 2024 Spanish medical drama series on Netflix, Breathless, or Respira, is very much like other sensational drama shows produced by the platform, with the added backdrop of blue scrubs and bloody scalpels. The plot is centered around a public hospital in Valencia, named the Joaquin Sorolla Hospital, where overstressed surgeons and their resident doctors struggle to treat the queue of patients who rush to the place for treatment. However, such is the heightened drama in the characters’ personal lives, and also in the political world, that matters of medicine become secondary, and the various subplots are all that we follow. Overall, Breathless is mediocre at best and disappointing at times, and it is best watched without any expectations of a serious medical drama.

Spoiler Alert

What is the Netflix series about?

Breathless begins with an intense scene inside the operation theater at the Joaquin Sorolla hospital, where a serious surgery...

‘The Accident’ Series Summary And Ending Explained: How Did Moncho Die?
Image
Netflix’s telenovela series, The Accident with all its frequent twists and turns can be quite funny at times, mostly because even though the loss portrayed in the show is quite serious, characters’ choices and responses are amusing, to say the least. The Mexican drama begins at the birthday party of Emiliano and Daniela’s son, Rodri, where things seem normal until the bounce house suddenly starts floating into the air. It turns out it wasn’t properly fixed to the ground because of which it took away the lives of innocent kids playing on it. But the real question here is: was it just a mere accident, or was it something more sinister—maybe even murder? The Accident constantly keeps you guessing this answer till the very end and I don’t know, maybe that’s what makes it interesting for few and boring for many? Nevertheless, let’s...

Premier League: Rodri saves Man City, Nunez completes dramatic win for Liverpool
Image
London, Aug 28 (Ians) Manchester City narrowly escaped defeat, overcoming Sheffield United 2-1 to clinch the top spot in the Premier League.

Erling Haaland put the reigning champions ahead in the 63rd minute with a robust header, making up for his earlier penalty miss against the post, reports Xinhua.

With Pep Guardiola recuperating from a back surgery in Barcelona, deputy Juanma Lillo took the helm in the City dugout. Still, the team’s strategy remained unchanged. By the time Haaland scored, City had launched 16 shots and earned 10 corners, while Sheffield United had none.

At 85 minutes, Sheffield United’s Jaydon Bogle leveled the score with a forceful shot from City’s right flank, making it 1-1.

However, in the 89th minute, Rodri secured City’s win with a decisive left-footed strike.

In other matches, Liverpool, despite being a man down after Virgil Van Dijk’s red card, clinched a thrilling 2-1 victory against Newcastle.

Euro 2024 qualifier: McTominay scores twice as Scotland stun Spain
Image
Glasgow (Scotland), March 29 (Ians) Scott McTominay scored twice as Scotland beat Spain 2-0 in their Euro 2024 qualifier tie on Tuesday night to move top of their group with two wins from two matches.

McTominay scored early in each half as Scotland produced a solid display which left Spain few options in the first defeat of Luis de la Fuente’s time as head coach.

De la Fuente made eight changes to the side which had beaten Norway 3-0 on Saturday, with only goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and central midfielders Rodri and Mikel Merino keeping their places, while Scotland coach Steve Clarke brought Lyndon Dykes in for the injured Che Adams and McTominay also started after having scored twice against Cyprus, a Xinhua report said.

The game was just seven minutes old when the Manchester United midfielder put Scotland ahead. Andy Robertson pressured Pedro Porro, who slipped at the wrong time, allowing...
