All 18 Keanu Reeves Movies From The 1990s, Ranked
Image
Keanu Reeves has been acting since the 1980s, and has given the world great performances in the realm of action, adventure, drama, and even comedy. It's rare for someone whose most prolific catchphrase is "Whoah" to be able to show so much emotional depth in a wide range of roles. Reeves is known not to take himself too seriously while still being able to take on very serious roles.

The 1990s were a very rich decade for Keanu Reeves' best films, which saw him star in action-packed blockbusters like Speed, emotional indie films like My Own Private Idaho, and ensemble pieces like Bram Stoker's Dracula. His star was on the rise throughout that tumultuous time of growth, and he's been an unwavering part of pop culture ever since. While Reeves has a very stoic approach to acting, with some criticizing his limited range, it's that brooding calmness that makes...

House II: The Second Story (1987)
Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995) – The Best Scene
House II: The Second Story (1987)
After taking a look back at House II: The Second Story (a favorite of mine since childhood) and House of 1000 Corpses (which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year), JoBlo’s own Lance Vlcek continues his The Best Scene video series by digging into what he feels is the best scene from the 1995 classic Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight (watch it Here). Lance’s choice for the best scene in this one is the scene where Billy Zane’s character The Collector gives up his cowboy disguise and reveals his true nature. You can hear all about it in the video embedded above!

Directed by Ernest Dickerson from a screenplay written by Mark Bishop, Ethan Reiff, and Cyrus Voris, Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight has the following synopsis: Ex-soldier Frank Brayker is the guardian of an ancient key that can unlock tremendous evil; the sinister but charming...

Must Watch: Exclusive Clip From Night Claws aka Apex Predator!
Survival is not an option. Living is not an option. Well, we finally have an exclusive clip from David A. Prior‘s horror movie Night Claws (aka Apex Predator), and I definitely recommend you to check it out. You already had a chance to watch the first trailer & poster for the whole thing, and today it’s time for us to see Bigfoot in some action! As you’re going to see this creature is definitely blood thirsty, vicious and kills without warning and without discrimination…

David A. Prior directed the movie from a script he co-wrote with Fabio Soldani which is set in a small town terrorized by a killer Bigfoot. This creepy creature kills without warning, and is on a rampage near that small town.

This is not your ordinary Bigfoot. This creature is lightning fast, is incredibly strong, and seems to thrive on not just killing but tearing people apart as well.

What if Yor, the Hunter from the Future (Reb Brown), Sharon Stone's lesbian lover from Basic Instinct (Leilani Sarelle), the star of a host of 80s/90s made-for-video action b-movies (Ted Prior), the King of the Kickboxers' girlfriend (Sherrie Rose), and Sylvester Stallone's brother (Frank Stallone) got together to star in a new Sasquatchploitation flick called Night Claws from the director of such horror movies as Killer Workout and Mardi Gras for the Devil (David A. Prior)? Throw in traditional special effects (i.e., No CGI!) from Bruce Larsen and Bill “Splat” Johnson, and you have a recipe for old school Bigfoot mayhem.

First Trailer & Poster For Apex Predator aka Night Claws!
Mankind is on the menu… Well, the last time I heard something about this movie, the title was Night Claws, and I think that tagline was something like – living is not an option, or whatever. The most important thing for you to know is that this is actually the same movie which comes from director David A. Prior but now has a completely new title – Apex Predator! Today we have a pretty cool trailer and poster for the whole thing, so make sure you check it out!

So, in case you’re not so familiar with this horror movie, I will first inform you that David A. Prior is also responsible for the script, which he co-wrote with Fabio Soldani. The movie has some interesting cast on board which includes Frank Stallone, Leilani Sarelle, Sherrie Rose, David Campbell, Ted Prior, Tara Sanford Kleinpeter and Alissa Koenig.

The movie is set...

Bigfoot Brandishing his Night Claws on DVD Next Month
It would be easy to dismiss Night Claws as just another low budget Bigfoot movie, but if you’re a lover of b-movies then the pedigree behind this latest piece of Sasquatchploitation makes it a must-see.

I first reported on this movie back in April of 2011 and I feel compelled to repeat a paragraph I wrote back then explaining why the film is a b-movie lover’s wet dream:

What if Yor, the Hunter from the Future (Reb Brown), Sharon Stone's lesbian lover from Basic Instinct (Leilani Sarelle), the star of a host of 80s/90s made-for-video action b-movies (Ted Prior), the King of the Kickboxer's girlfriend (Sherrie Rose), and Sylvester Stallone's brother (Frank Stallone) got together to star in a new Sasquatchploitation flick called Night Claws from the director of such horror movies as Killer Workout and Mardi Gras for the Devil (David A. Morgan: 'Fatherhood Is Spectacular'
Jeffrey Dean Morgan has finally opened up about the arrival of his baby son, more than 18 months after his actress girlfriend Hilarie Burton gave birth.

The couple became proud parents to a little boy last March, but kept the news secret for over two months.

They refused to divulge the tot's name in a bid to "protect" his privacy, but now Morgan has lifted the lid on life with the toddler, who is called Gus.

The actor says, "He just said 'no' for the first time, which is f**ked up. In one week it's just like, 'No, no, no!' But everything is a first. It's been spectacular."

Speaking to E! Online at the Los Angeles premiere of the new Twilight film on Monday, he adds, "(Life is) a lot of not sleeping, and then our one adult night we come here... this is our date. Can you believe it?"

Gus is Burton's first child and Morgan's second - the actor discovered he was a first-time father when his actress ex-girlfriend Sherrie Rose revealed in 2009 that her then four-year-old son was the result of her romance with the star.

Sasquatchploitation goodness in Night Claws
Yep, that old silly Sasquatchploitation genre is still alive and kickin’ (hopefully like real life Bigfoots…why can’t we find them?) with Night Claws. The official website has a new poster and trailer for you all to enjoy.

Bigfoot is on the loose, and he’s pissed! A plus? Old school FX – no CGI.

Here’s the synopsis: “A small town is being terrorized by a killer Bigfoot. One that is bloodthirsty, vicious and kills without warning and without discrimination. A scientist by the name of Sarah Evans (Leilani Sarelle; Basic Instinct and Barbarians at the Gate) shows up to help the town’s sheriff (Reb Brown; Yor, the Hunter from the Future and Space Mutiny) and his deputy girlfriend Roberta (Sherrie Rose; King of the Kickboxers and Black Scorpion II: Aftershock) hunt this thing down and put an end to the killings. At the same time, Hunter Crawford...

New Sasquatchploitation Night Claws a B-Movie Fan's Dream

God willing the wait to answer that question won't be too long. Maybe you don't share my enthusiasm, but as a man with an unabashed soft spot for killer Bigfoot movies, the works of David and Ted Prior's Action International Pictures output, and several of the names announced for the cast, Night Claws is already high on my must-see list.

Undead Backbrain brings word that b-moviemaker David A. Prior is back in Alabama (where most of his past movies were filmed) to bring...
