Vince McMahon’s Accident: WWE Veteran Says He Was Afraid To Ride With Vince After Reading Victim’s Statement
Image
Trigger Warning: This Article Contains Mentions of Car Accidents.

Looks like Vince McMahon is in more trouble. A woman named Barbara Doran took to her Facebook to release a lengthy statement about a car accident she was recently in, and it turned out that the man who hit her car was none other than the former chair of WWE, Vince McMahon himself. The story prompted Jim Cornette to react to the incident, asserting that neither he nor many others prefer driving with McMahon.

As per Doran’s post, she was driving in the right lane of the narrow Merritt Highway with her dog when McMahon’s car, going 80-90 mph, hit her car. Luckily, she was able to keep control of the wheel but was “shot off the road after being catapulted over 100 yards.”...

Image
You can think about John Cena in many ways, from being a protagonist and the proponent of hustle, loyalty, and respect inside the squared circle to a shadow of his former self. Still, John Cena is undeniably one of the greatest WWE superstars to have stepped into the ring.

John Cena was the face of the company for more than a decade. He was elevated during the Attitude Era and dominated the locker room until modern times. He is known for delivering some of the most remarkable matches in the company, which created a special memory in the hearts of the fans.

However, a series of totally different encounters he had over the years paint a completely different picture of the 17-time World Champion. These matches not only display the poor technical skills of the wrestlers involved but also portray bad storyline writing and complacency in detailing the rivalries Cena had during his career.

After a botched heel turn a year earlier, it looked like Stone Cold was missing something.

He had done everything, and now, it looked like there was nothing left to do. In June 2002, Stone Cold walked out of the company controversially. He did it just before an episode of Raw, too. Why did he do it? What did WWE do that made Stone Cold angry enough to walk out of the company?

Stone Cold was already frustrated with his booking for a few months

In 2002, Austin was still as big as ever, but his popularity and success had started to reach their summit.

The Real Reason Why Hulk Hogan Never Faced Stone Cold That Would’ve Blown Apart WWE
Image
WWE has always been a realm where possibilities, probabilities, and even impossibilities collide. Over the years, some matches have become timeless classics, leaving a lasting impact on the fans and the industry. Others, though promising on paper, failed to generate the same level of excitement or legacy.

Then there exists a unique category—the dream matches that never happened. These hypothetical clashes continue to fuel debates and fantasies among wrestling enthusiasts, representing missed opportunities that could have redefined eras.

One of the most talked-about dream matches in WWE history is the unrealized showdown between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. Both men were the faces of their respective eras—Hogan in the golden age of the 1980s and Austin in the Attitude Era of the late ’90s.

Queen of the Ring star Emily Bett Rickards isn't scared to face wrestling's rabid fanbase. The former Arrow ensemble member will draw their attention when she takes to the silver screen as wrestling legend Mildred Burke in an upcoming biopic, but she developed a knack for braving backlash during her time in the CW's DC universe as Felicity Smoak.

"When I was on Arrow, I quickly realized how passionate comic book fans can be," said the CWveteran in an interview with TV Insider, confessing "At one point, I had to have a really long talk with my therapist, asking, 'Okay, so what is all this energy? I don’t really understand it.'"

The actress claims she had to develop "skin like a rhino" and "heart like a rose" to be able to achieve that understanding. She now acknowledges criticism often stems from passion, not malice alone.

Sting’s Best Wrestling Matches of All Time: From Aew and WWE to WCW
Image
Aew Revolution 2024 was a hell of a show and it ended with the satisfying finale of Sting’s time in the ring. The final stretch of Sting’s career was a wonderful chance to set things right for the legendary wrestler, after the wrestling business had constantly let him down over the years. He was once the ace of WCW, but the incompetence and selfishness of others hurt his legacy in different ways at different promotions. But despite being in his 60s, his three years at Aew allowed him to go out on his own terms.

The Stinger is a beloved icon for a reason. While he did get wrapped up in such unfortunate things as the WCW mini-movies, the Shockmaster, the ill-fated Hulk Hogan match at Starrcade, and a really unfortunate PPV main event involving Jeff Hardy, Sting was still one of WCW’s great highlights and kicked a...

Match #1: The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn def. Rush, Preston Vance & Dralistico

My Thoughts: This was another average match from The Acclaimed who don’t seem to be able to kick things into top gear at all recently. Every match feels like the trio of Max Caster, Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn are just going through the motions and sticking to a Very familiar playbook that gets them over with live audience but does nothing for them personally. If I’m truly honest, The Acclaimed should’ve lost this one – Rush and co. are much more on point these days and have been dominant for real, unlike The Acclaimed,...

Match #1: Sammy Guevera def. Konesuke Takeshita

My Thoughts: When Sammy Guevara isn’t messing around with the Jsa or p*ssing off fans with over-the-top affection to his wife Tay Melo on TV he Can actually wrestle. And thankfully that’s what happened here, as Gueara and Takeshita really delivered a great opening match. I wouldn’t have had Takeshita lose, but as other have noted – he probably lost to push the Don Callis angle. Which I guess I can live with, if it means Takeshita gets to the next level in Aew.

My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: House of Black (Brodie King and Malakai Black) def.
