High Potential Episode 11, "The Sauna at the End of the Stairs," presents a classic "whodunit" murder-mystery-style installment filled with guest stars, such as Pamela Roylance, Ryan Devlin, and Nasmin Pedrad. 

The new episode of the ABC crime drama series revolves around Selena Soto asking Morgan to help look at one of her previous cases to find the true killer, leading to shocking revelations about a rich family who recently lost their patriarch.

Airing on ABC on Tuesday, January 21 at 9 p.m. Et, the new installment will see Morgan and Karadec investigate a particularly bizarre murder scene. The official synopsis reads: "A nanny is found bludgeoned to death in the park. Elsewhere, Morgan interferes when Elliot admits to not being invited to his classmate’s party."

The clip opens with Morgan trying to convince Karadec to taste her sandwich at the diner, while the detective emphasizes the importance of being discreet during their stakeout. In typical Morgan fashion, she counters his reprimand with humor, and he appears unamused. Before the banter can go any further, Karadec spots their suspect buying a newspaper across the street. Forty-two years ago, actor Michael Villella (whose last name was sometimes spelled Villela in credits) made his screen acting debut in the classic slasher The Slumber Party Massacre. He went on to earn several more acting credits over the years – and today, we have to share the sad news that Villella has passed away at the age of 84.

As confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, news of Villella’s passing first emerged on Facebook, on both his own profile and his daughter Chloe’s. According to TMZ, he died due to multiple organ failure after spending over a month in the hospital.

Following his screen debut, Villella landed roles in Love Letters, an episode of Amazing Stories, Gotham (1988), Wild Orchid, Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue, an episode of Getting Away with Murder, and some short films. He had a character name in the first Wild Orchid, Elliot Costa, but...

The series High Potential has stopped the streaming chart. High Potential is a new detective series starring Kaitlin Olson as a single mom named Morgan who helps solve crimes by rearranging evidence during her work as a cleaner for the police department. Olson is best known for her work playing Dee Reynolds on the beloved comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. In addition to Olson, High Potential features a leading cast including Javicia Leslie, Daniel Sunjata, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb, and Judy Reyes.

As per Variety, High Potential topped the streaming chart upon its debut.

I sometimes get in the mood for fun summer B horror movies and this is certainly one of them type of flicks. I have seen this movie a few times in the past. It’s always a pleasant surprise on an overly tired genre by this point. Slasher films had peaked in the mid 80s and fizzled by the time this film made its debut.
