Ramesh Saigal was born on 2 March 1918 in Multan, Punjab, British India [now Pakistan]. He was a director and writer, known for Railway Platform (1955), Ishq Par Zor Nahin (1970) and Samadhi (1950). He died on 20 January 1980 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.
