Surprisingly, several of his iconic movies have strong potential for a sequel, not just for nostalgia or box office gains, but because their stories genuinely deserve to be continued. Here are five Aamir Khan films that truly deserve a sequel, but only if he returns to lead them.

Salman Khan is that superstar who delivered one of the biggest musical blockbusters of Hindi Cinema with his debut itself. In 1989, when Maine Pyar Kiya released, the songs became chartbusters and helped the film sail in a huge way! Sp Bala became the voice for the superstar henceforth. Since then, Salman and music have been synonymous. And the same is being expected from his upcoming Eid offering Sikandar!

The Eid biggie, helmed by Ar Murugadoss, releases on March 30, Sunday. But four songs from the film have already arrived and are trending on YouTube! Amongst them, one is a romantic track, and the other is a Holi song. The remaining two are party anthems, one of which is the title track.

But do these songs help elevate Sikandar’s success graph in any way? I have my doubts!

“Black Warrant,” the hit Netflix series currently in the platform’s India Top 10 nearly three months after its premiere, was the focus of a panel at the ongoing Cinevesture International Film Festival in Chandigarh, India.

The discussion featured creator-showrunner Vikramaditya Motwane, producer Sameer Nair of Applause Entertainment, and lead actors Zahan Kapoor and Rahul Bhat, who explored the “synergy for success” that has made the prison drama a streaming standout.

Based on “Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer” by Sunil Gupta and journalist Sunetra Choudhury, the series chronicles Gupta’s 35-year career at India’s notorious Tihar prison, where he oversaw infamous inmates including serial killer Charles Sobhraj and and kidnappers Kuljeet Singh (alias Ranga Khus) and Jasbir Singh (alias Billa).

Salman Khan Drops New Sikandar Poster to Celebrate Sajid Nadiadwala’s Birthday

Bollywood icon Salman Khan has just revealed a fresh poster for his upcoming action flick, Sikandar, coinciding with the birthday of the film’s producer, Sajid Nadiadwala. Directed by Ar Murugadoss, the movie also features Rashmika Mandanna.

In the new poster, Salman sports a fierce expression while holding a sharp weapon. He teased fans with the caption, “Sikandar on Eid,” hinting at when we can expect the film to hit theaters.

Rashmika recently updated fans that she’s back on set for Sikandar. A teaser was previously released, giving a glimpse of Salman battling Samurais.

The end of January 2025 brought us a great conclusion to Mo on Netflix, with the last episode of season 2 being the series finale. Going in before the show returned, we did know this would be the final season. And though it ends on a bittersweet note, I think the ending was great and what Mo has set out to do since season 1 was achieved.

Though Netflix has brought the show to an end, the creator, Mo Amer, still has more ideas for a potential Mo season 3 if Netflix, or maybe even another platform, would be interested. Ahead of the finale, Amer spoke with Variety about the season and that he "can't believe" it's the final one. Here's what he told the outlet:

“There’s so much to give, so it’s kind of ridiculous to only fit it into two seasons. All the love that we got the first season...

Mohammed Amer’s “Mo” is one of those shows that can make you laugh and cry at the same time. Centered around the life of a Palestinian refugee in Houston, Mo is funny, a little crazy, and deeply emotional. The show is loosely based on Amer’s life and his experience navigating the system in the United States as a Palestinian. While season one was a fun watch, the second season hits it out of the park and is simply one of the best comedy shows to binge-watch on Netflix.

Mo highlights how the situation in Palestine has always been challenging, and how it only worsened after October 7th, 2023. Mo and his family were refugees who had been waiting for twenty-two years for their asylum status. The idea of home thus becomes crucial and the constant uncertainty resulted in emotional outbursts and a sense of hopelessness. But instead of portraying...

It's great to have Mo back on our screens, even if the comedy-drama only lasted for two seasons. The titular character's infectious energy rubs off on you and makes for an interesting watch where you're invested in the character. First thing's first. Yes, we do think Mo season 2 is definitely worth your time to watch! It's a really well done show that not only represents the Palestinian and Arab culture, but other groups as well. It's such a nice blend of cultures that educates, but entertains with the comedic aspect of the show at the same time. Mo season 2 took us, and the titular character, on quite the journey in this final season of the Netflix series. And honestly, it was great! Though there were a couple of scenes and plot points that felt a little unnecessary or dramatized for the sake of the story, overall this was a really strong season for the comedy-drama. After a few months and some hiccups, Mo manages to make it back into Houston after crossing the border into Mexico. However, it comes with some hardships. He receives a deportation order. Though since he's a stateless person and was in the U.S. seeking asylum, he can technically stay in America since there's nowhere for him to go.

Mohammed Amer’s Mo is an underrated gem on Netflix—a show that is unafraid to ask the tough questions and always answers them with a touch of comedy. At the end of the first season, Mo ended up stranded in Mexico after climbing into a truck carrying olive trees that he hoped he would bring home to Houston. It has been six months since Mo mistakenly entered Mexico, and he had a tough time trying to convince the American embassy to allow him to return home to attend his asylum hearing. Mo did not have a passport since he was still awaiting his asylum status, and his only option was to beg the embassy to grant him a laissez-passer (a travel permit). Returning home legally started to seem like a far-fetched dream to Mo, when suddenly one of his customers (he was staying afloat selling falafel tacos), Camilla, mentioned she was Ambassador Lewis’ wife.

When we last saw Mo, it was the summer of 2022, and the comedy series, created by Mohammed Amer and Ramy Youssef, had just completed an excellent first season by stranding Amer’s Mo Najjar — a Palestinian asylum seeker living in Houston — on the wrong side of the U.S.-Mexico border. There was periodic talk of Mo’s Muslim faith and of his family’s hope that they could one day return to their homeland, but the show was primarily a light, wry comedy about the logistics of life as an undocumented immigrant.

It's only a matter of hours now until we get more of Mo Najjar's Arab and Texan flare that we've missed! He has such a can-do attitude no matter what life throws at him and his family, and it's certainly infectious when you watch. We can't wait to start streaming the new season! So when can you do so?

Mo season 2 premieres Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025 at 12 a.m. Pt on Netflix. There's no split season situation here as all 8 episodes drop on premiere day. The release time is a late one, especially for a weekday for those of us in the U.S. Though this is the typical time Netflix releases all of its new content.

It is no secret that so far the fourth season of The Boys has been largely a predictable filler arc with no major progress or change to either the story or the characters, and the season finale contributes nothing to counter that perception of it. While viewers will remain interested in seeing how everything goes down at the end, the reason the majority of them will feel the urge to watch the next season is because it is to be the final one. Anyways, moving to the story so far – the Boys found themselves in a pickle after not being able to capture a shapeshifter supe, who is out to kill president elect Singer, as part of the planned coupe orchestrated by Homelander, Sage and Neuman. Unbeknownst to Hughie, the shifter abducts Annie, and taking her form, manages to sabotage all the confidential information the Boys had on Neuman and the lot.

The Boys Season 4 was about two things: Homelander’s efforts to replace a human president with a Supe president (Victoria Neuman) and Butcher’s mission to concoct a virus that’ll kill Homelander. And while characters like Hughie, Annie, Mm, Kimiko, Frenchie, A-Train, Ashley, The Deep, Firecracker, and Ryan have gone in a variety of directions, Homelander (along with Sister Sage) and Butcher (with the voices of Becca and Kessler) have not deviated from the path to their respective ultimate objective. In the penultimate episode of this season of the show, we saw Homelander parting ways with Sister Sage because he thought she was detrimental to the task at hand. Frenchie was tasked with developing the Supe-killing virus after Sameer escaped from Butcher’s makeshift lab after almost killing Kimiko.
