Lynda Carter Shares Her Biggest Life Lesson: "Don't Marry the First Person That Proposes to You!" (Exclusive)
Actress Lynda Carter, also known as Wonder Woman, exclusively told Closer Weekly in a new interview what advice she would give her 20-year-old self. "Don’t marry the first person that proposes to you!" said Lynda, whose first marriage to producer Ron Samuels lasted only from 1977 to 1982. "He was a lot older, and I was just stupid." 'Wonder Woman' Actress Lynda Carter Receives a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
We all know Gal Gadot as the star of Wonder Woman today, but before there was Gal, Lynda Carter was the lasso carrying heroine that we all admired (and secretly wanted to be). From 1975 to 1979, Lynda kicked butt on TV screens everywhere in that iconic red, white, and blue leotard. Now, she's finally being recognized for her achievements with her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! On Tuesday, April 3, Lynda, 66, was presented with the 2,632nd star, making her one of only a handful of Latinas to earn this distinction. (Lynda's mother is Mexican.) Patty Jenkins, the director of the 2017 blockbuster Wonder Woman, was a guest speaker at the event.
