General Hospital Spoilers: Is Isaiah A Member Of One Life To Live’s Gannon Family?
Image
General Hospital spoilers indicate that we just recently got a hint about Dr. Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) family. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) recently commented to Isaiah while he was with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that he investigated Isaiah, and that he hopes that he is not involved with what his family does.

We still do not know exactly what Isaiah’s family deals in, it certainly can’t be anything good. One Life to Live fans are very familiar with the Gannon family, as they were featured on the show. Is Isaiah somehow connected to this family from Llanview?

There have been lots of nice nods of both One Life to Live and All My Children on General Hospital lately, so it would be a fun surprise if Isaiah is connected to this One Life to Live family.

How ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Paid Tribute to Kamar de los Reyes in Episode 2
Image
The first two episodes of “Daredevil: Born Again” are now streaming, and you might be wondering, who was Kamar de los Reyes?

Ahead of Episode 2, a brief in memoriam title card displays onscreen, commemorating de los Reyes, who plays a key character in the series. Through the rest of the episode, we get to know the late actor as Hector Ayala, also known as the vigilante White Tiger. He’s a hero who believes in helping people simply because it’s the right thing to do.

Sadly, de los Reyes died on Christmas Eve, back in 2023, making “Daredevil: Born Again” one of his final roles. De los Reyes was 56 years old, and died after a brief battle with cancer.

The actor was best known for his time as Antonio Vega on the ABC soap opera “One Life to Live,” and he was married to “The Fosters” actress Sherri Saum.

Image
Alright, Marvel fans, let’s talk about something important, Kamar de Los Reyes, the man, the legend. He is playing the first Puerto Rican superhero in the MCU, and the first Latino superhero in U.S. comic book history, White Tiger! If that wasn’t enough, this was also his final role before his tragic passing in late 2023 after a battle with cancer.

He was an incredibly talented actor best known for his role as Antonio Vega on One Life to Live and for lending his voice to Call of Duty: Black Ops II as the unforgettable villain, Raul Menendez.

Bold and the Beautiful Alum Kiara Barnes Nabs Seductive New Role on Fox’s Accused
Image
The Bold and the Beautiful alum Kiara Barnes is returning to the small screen. She nabbed another acting role with Fox’s American crime drama Accused.

What Happened to Zoe Buckingham?

It’s been a while since fans saw Barnes on the daytime soap. The last time Zoe appeared was in July 2021. Her sister Paris (Diamond White) told her about Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) affair with Quinn (Rena Sofer), who was married to Eric (John McCook) at the time. Zoe assumed that Carter was sleeping with Shauna (Denise Richards).

Zoe had enough of Los Angeles and the constant drama. She ultimately broke up with Carter and left town. Zoe has been spending time in London with her mother. It’s also likely that Zoe got word about Paris’s surprise engagement to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson).

However, it doesn’t look like Zoe is ever returning to the show. Her character has been written off,...

We'll Never Be Over That Recast on 'The Fosters'
Image
Sometimes, late in a show’s run, an actor will decide it's time for them to depart the series. Whatever the reason may be, it’s often disappointing for the fans, and leaves the showrunners with two options: One, write the character off entirely. Or two, recast the character with someone new. While the most obvious and simple choice would seem to be just writing the character off, some shows do go with the second option and recast a character with someone new. Such was the case with The Fosters, when Jake T. Austin decided he was going to be departing the show. Rather than writing his character off, he was replaced by a new actor, and to put it gently, fans were not happy. From the very first episode of The Fosters Jake T. Austin portrayed Jesus Foster, one half of a set of twins adopted by Lena (Sherri Saum...

Cierra Ramirez and Maia Mitchell in Good Trouble (2019)
Good Trouble Season 5 Episode 12 Review: With a Little Help From My Friends
Cierra Ramirez and Maia Mitchell in Good Trouble (2019)
A show of hands; how many of us are hanging in there for all things Mariana Adams-Foster?

Despite everything that happened on Good Trouble Season 5 Episode 12, it's been more evident than ever during this fifth (and bittersweetly final) season that Miss Thang is the lynchpin of the series.

And when storylines have to stray from her, it's becoming increasingly difficult not to distract oneself with the phone.

It's not that Good Trouble has become unwatchable.

But there is some redundancy to some storylines, others that feel as if we're circling the drain and running out of steam, and sadly, with the awareness that the end is near, there's an antsiness for the buildup to a worthwhile end, and as of now, things are simply falling short.

The beauty of this hour was knowing that it was Sherri Saum's directorial debut, and it's pleasing that she got to cut her...

CSI: Vegas (2021)
CSI: Vegas Season 2 Report Card: Best and Worst Storyline, Best New Addition, and More
CSI: Vegas (2021)
CSI: Vegas had some big shoes to fill since the spin-off started in 2021 because the original series was a fan-favorite and ran for 15 seasons.

CSI: Vegas Season 1 focused on establishing the team and ridding the team of the scandal that Hodges was accused of. They needed Grissom and Sara’s expertise to do that.

During CSI: Vegas Season 2, they brought Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) back to have another legacy character to entice long-time characters. Catherine interacted with more of the newer characters on a variety of cases, but she was gone for a few episodes at a time, which would disrupt the flow of her stories.

The season had its ups and downs as it struggled to find a mystery viewers cared about. Instead, the series excelled by featuring character-centric storylines or episodes that expanded on each character’s personality and family.

Our report card examines some of its more important...

‘The Fosters’ Is Even More Important 10 Years After Its Premiere
Image
The Fosters was an important, revolutionary show when it premiered back in 2013 and continues to be a timely — and arguably even more crucial — piece of media 10 years later. Throughout its five seasons, the Freeform (known as ABC Family at the time) series centered around a San Diego family consisting of Stef (Teri Polo), a police officer, and her vice principal wife, Lena (Sherri Saum), along with their five kids: Brandon (David Lambert), a piano prodigy and Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage; adopted twins, Mariana, academically gifted, fashion-forward (played by Cierra Ramirez), and Jesus, athletic, often the comic relief; and rebellious foster child Callie (Maia Mitchell) and her sweet younger brother Jude (Hayden Byerly). It had all the trademarks of the classic teen dramas that came before it: steamy love triangles, high-stakes school dances, and out-of-control house parties among them. But before the show even premiered, it was...

Good Trouble Season 5 Episode 7 Review: Turkey For Me, Turkey For You
Cierra Ramirez and Maia Mitchell in Good Trouble (2019)
Good Trouble never misses with holidays at the Coterie!

The series pulled off an ambitious feat on Good Trouble Season 5 Episode 7 with the oddly placed (but we'll allow it) Thanksgiving-themed installment that brought many familiar guest stars and Coterie member relatives to share a meal.

And there were plenty of laughs and entertaining moments from high Lena and Jude, over it Stef, Mama Kwan, and Bonnie.

Good Trouble is often at its best when they can bring the entire group together for some occasion or another and lean heavily into what it means to live in a communal space where everyone is a family.

It's one of the primary reasons people tune in for a series like this, and tossing in some The Fosters nostalgia by bringing Callie, Jude, Stef, and Lena into the mix will never not bump an installment up to a highlight.

And the hour was just...

CSI: Vegas Season 2 Episode 2 Review: The Painted Man
Grace Huang
The crime lab really brought the ick this time out.

Also, they continued to make enemies on CSI: Vegas Season 2 Episode 2.

It's a little early for what felt like a Halloween episode. But it is Vegas, where creepy is a year-round thing.

So why not peer inside that city's cottage industry known as haunted houses?

What I want to know is if there's such a thing as a haunted house wedding chapel. It would seem like a natural hybrid.

But I digress. An establishment such as Necropolis would be an ideal place to stash a body if it's appropriately disguised.

It certainly was well hidden in this case, as the thick coat of paint not only stopped the smell of decomposition but also caused the body to liquefy inside that casing. Beau's joke about almost being named Stew was totally inappropriate and perfectly appropriate at the same time.

The CSIs...
