What’s Good: The film is an authentic ‘Pandya Western’ with aesthetics, an engaging protagonist’s journey, and an enigmatic narrative core. Suryah and Lawrence deliver spectacular performances, navigating moral quandaries and evoking empathy. Karthik’s trademark layers assure sustained engagement, with nods to Tamil cinema adding an enigmatic touch.

What’s Bad: The initial 30 minutes exhibit storytelling impatience. Specific sequences, like unnecessary melodrama, disrupt the flow. CGI, especially in rendering elephants, lacks an organic feel. The second half’s abundance of messages can be overwhelming, and some scenes, like the tribal wedding, seem disconnected.

Written and performed by ofRo, the song has as much of a party vibe as it oozes pure hip gangsta style. In many ways, it is similar to something that Ice-t, Eminem, or Kanye West do, but can sonically be differentiated because of its more avant-garde nature.

There is a lot of bling in the video, though it also has scenes from the film and the composition of Santhosh Narayanan who has made the track as groovy and cool as possible.

Fans of Malayalam cinema are in for a treat as the legendary duo of director Sathyan Anthikad and actor-writer Sreenivasan are set to join hands again for a comedy film.

The two have collaborated on many hit films in the past, such as Nadodikkattu, Pattanapravesham, Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam, and Gandhinagar 2nd Street. Their last film together was Oru Indian Pranayakatha in 2013.

Ahmedabad, Sep 19 (Ians) Almost 30 years after he became the first footballer from Gujarat to represent India, CV Sasi will make the long trek from Kerala to Ahmedabad to watch and motivate his former state in the 36th National Games here.

New Delhi, Aug 23 (Ians) The 61st edition of Subroto Cup International Football Tournament that was suspended due to the Covid 19 pandemic, will resume after a gap of two years, the organisers of the tournament announced on Tuesday.

The tournament is scheduled to be held in New Delhi from September 6 to October 13.

Speaking on the occasion, Wing Commander Yashwant Singh Panghal, Honorary Secretary General, Subroto Mukerjee Sports Education Society said, “With immense happiness we share the news of the resumption of the Subroto Cup, a beacon in promoting football at grass root level in this country.
