Kristin McKay‘s upcoming horror thriller film Kill Trip recently wrapped up filming, and we have the first look images of the cast for you.

The upcoming film’s story revolves around a group of friends on their way to a Texas music festival in Austin, but when their vehicle breaks down in the middle of nowhere, they have to accept a ride from a soft-spoken van driver. He takes them to a dusty Texan town, but one by one the friends begin to disappear, and it becomes clear to them that not everybody is going to make it out alive from here.

A haunting new glimpse at Kill Trip has arrived as production wrapped on Kristian McKay’s first American feature in Bastrop, Texas. The horror thriller gathers Samaire Armstrong in her latest genre turn alongside Stelio Savante and Corin Nemec as three people whose road-trip detour turns into a fight for survival. Los Angeles-based talent agency Mavrick Artists Agency and New York-based Eris Talent Agency have just signed on to represent the talented South African-born character actor Stelio Savante.

Savante recently appeared in the final season of Swat as Omar Morina on CBS and Paramount+. In Swat, he starred opposite Elizabeth Tabish, Patrick Sabongui, and Elizabeth Mitchell. Set against the South African landscape, Poachers Moon is a gripping crime drama that delves into the harrowing realities faced by two childhood friends, navigating trauma, poverty, and the grim world of rhino poaching. The story weaves a tale of intertwined fates, resilience, and hope through the lives of James Hollander (British actor Tom Datnow) and Michael ‘Moremi’ Zungu (South African actor Kwenzo Ngcobo).

Multilingual South African actor and producer, Stelio Savante, who has a SAG Award cast nomination for playing Steve in Ugly Betty, has signed with London based Harter Allen Agency for representation in Europe and the Middle East. Savante recently wrapped key roles in three upcoming films, all based on true stories; Sarah’s Oil, Between Borders, and Hazel.

Nicki Micheaux‘s directorial debut Summer of Silence, which was also written and produced by Micheaux has been selected to screen at the 31st Pan African Film Festival 2024. Matt McCauley’s feature directorial debut, Undefiled, will only be released in theaters for two nights, starting on February 4th and February 10th at the Route 66 Theater in Webb City, Missouri.

Undefiled stars former MLB player Bradford Haynes (Stranger Things, Paradise City), Stelio Savante (Fresh Kills, Nefarious), Cory Kays (Looking For Andrew, Lily Is Here), Kalyn Wood (Wrath and Rituals), Sharonne Lanier (Pursuit Of Freedom, Son of The South), and Zach Sale (Ambitions, Miracles From Heaven).

In the film, “Struggling with an endless cycle of addiction, an aging Mitch Jennings finally gets his shot at professional baseball. But, taking that chance will mean turning his back on a team secret that may cost a young sex-trafficked victim her life.”
