    • Lauren Schaffel has been singing, dancing, and acting since she was 5 and made her television debut as the kindergarten girlfriend of "Fudge" in the Saturday-morning series of that name. As a teen, Lauren was known for her recurring role as Becca, the cute but troublemaking best friend of "Lauren Miller" on "Still Standing." Also as a teen she auditioned for and won the lead role in the pilot for the Bravo reality show "Situation Comedy," produced by Sean Hayes. Besides acting in sitcoms, Lauren studied improvisation with the Groundlings and was also a student of classical voice. While in high school, Lauren placed as a finalist in classical voice in The Spotlight Awards, a young-talent competition held at the Los Angeles Music Center. Lauren continued her theater and music studies at Columbia University and the Juilliard School. Recently Lauren graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English and Theater. While at Columbia, she appeared in productions of "The Little Prince" in the title role and "A New Brain" as Nurse Nancy. She now resides in New York City and has appeared in numerous off-Broadway theater productions, including "King Lear," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and "Jake's Women." Lauren's unique voice has graced a radio commercial for "Campbell's Soup" and she has appeared in a major motion picture with Tina Fey, another produced by Martin Scorsese, and another starring Heather Graham and John Corbett.
