This Ecstasy Trailer Shows What Can Go Wrong with Party Drugs
From the man without a last name comes the urban thriller Ecstasy. This is an anti-drug film, as suggested by the trailer. Drug deaths, sexual assault, and misfortune all lead to destruction in the first trailer for Lux's Ecstasy, which is quite graphic. Ecstasy was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia and Seattle, Washington. The film is currently available through digital-on-demand and Ecstasy stars Charlie Bewley (Eclipse), Elisa King ("Psych"), and Christy Andersen. More details are below.

The synopsis for Ecstasy is here:

"In a college community, four teenage school girls find escape in a mysterious new party drug that brings them to new heights. Director: Lux.

Exclusive Dark Country pics—including first look at “Bloodyface”
Sony Pictures sent Fango a few exclusive photos from The Dark Country, the directorial debut of actor (The Mist, Mutant Chronicles) and Fangoria Radio fave Thomas Jane (pictured). Among them are the first peeks at the movie’s villain, dubbed “Bloodyface”; you can have a look at ’em below the cut.

Scripted by Tab Murphy, The Dark Country stars Jane and Hostel: Part II’s Lauren German as Dick and Gina, who meet in Las Vegas, decide to get married and set out on a road trip across the desert. Along the way, they come across a mangled accident victim and try to help him, but “Bloodyface” (stuntman Con Schell) instead turns their vacation into a nightmare. The film is set to debut this fall, but although it was lensed in 3-D, it hasn’t been confirmed at this point whether it will go theatrical or premiere on DVD. We...

First Images from Thomas Jane’s Dark Country
Didn’t Thomas Jane used to be a really big A-list name? At least he was a couple of years ago. Maybe Jane is just picking materials that are too “outside the box” for the studio, who keeps sending his movies straight to DVD, but boy, it sure seems like every Thomas Jane movie is getting the shaft lately. First the eternally delayed “The Mutant Chronicles”, then “Killshot”, and now “Dark Country”, which also happens to be Jane’s feature film debut as a director. First images from “Dark Country” after the jump. A couple en route from Las Vegas are forced to deal with a body out in the desert making their honeymoon one hellish ride. The film stars Ron Perlman, Thomas Jane, Lauren German, Chris Browning, Rene Mousseux, Aynn Kirby, Con Schell, Nikki Kelly, Jonathan Lund. Jane makes his feature film directorial debut with the movie. Sony Pictures...
