Jeff Daniels & Dennis Quaid Compete for the Best Ronald Reagan Performance
Image
The presidential race of 2024 might be heating up between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, but theres a race of a different kind going on in Hollywood when it comes to who will portray the best Ronald Reagan: Dennis Quaid or Jeff Daniels? Quaid is set to star in the upcoming biopic tracing the life of the 40th President of the United States, while Daniels has just signed on to portray the late president for a new movie that will detail the events surrounding Reagans 1986 meeting with the last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev.

Per Deadline, Daniels will headline Reykjavk as Reagan alongside Jared Harris (Gorbachev), and J.K. Simmons, who will portray United States Secretary of State George Shultz. Michael Russell Gunn will make his feature film debut with the new movie, directing from a script he penned himself. His previous credits include showrunner for Sk Global and...

Official Trailer for PG Fantasy Adventure Movie 'Guardians of Time'
Image
"We'll be alright, as long as we stick together." Lionsgate has revealed a bad trailer for a PG-rated action adventure fantasy movie called Guardians of Time, formerly known as just The Guardian of Time. Apparently one wasn't enough, so they rethought it and decided to go with "Guardians" instead. One day, in the family manor, four cousins discover a passage leading to a mysterious world. Trapped in this unearthed land, the Kingdom of Keoherus, they must confront the Guardian of Time, face dark forces and beasts to hopefully get back home. This sounds a lot like a The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe rip-off, with kids escaping to another realm where they have to figure out how to get back safely. It's another "must solve puzzles" movie and is going direct-to-vod directly, which is a clear sign this is junk and they know it. This one stars Samantha Ryan,...

C.I. Ape Trailer Brings an Amazingly Bonkers Mix of Espionage & Monkey Business
Image
Step aside, G.I. Joe, as C.I. Ape is on the case. Soon to be released on Digital and DVD by Lionsgate, C.I. Ape is a bonkers action comedy movie that's pretty much exactly as it sounds. It follows a superspy who just so happens to be a talking primate --- and he's very, very good at what he does. As you can tell from the trailer, which can be watched below, the movie is completely over the top but looks like it's a lot of fun.

The official synopsis for C.I. Ape reads: "In the world of espionage, some missions require an agent with a unique set of skills, possessing not just bravery but an ability to melt even the most villainous heart. This is a job for C.I. Ape! The 1st ever chimpanzee joining the C.I.A. When a criminal plot is discovered, the C.

C.I.Ape (2021)
Don't Watch: Trailer for Dumb Comedy 'C.I.Ape' with a CGI Chimp
C.I.Ape (2021)
"Please... this is a serious mission!" Lionsgate has released an official trailer for an Ace Entertainment Films production called C.I.Ape and if that title isn't cringe enough, just wait until you see the footage. I didn't know they still made trash like this nowadays. It's as if they paid to use the CGI model of the chimpanzee from the recent Planet of the Apes movie, but didn't pay the VFX artists to make him look any good. In the world of espionage, some missions require an agent with a unique set of skills, possessing not just bravery but an ability to melt even the most villanious heart. This is a job for C.I.Ape! Oh no. C.I.Ape stars Sophia Alongi, Skip Schwink, Madelyn Kientz, Leah N.H. Philpott, and Scott Anthony Gould as the voice of Sam. Thankfully watching the trailer is free, but please don't give any of your money to this abomination.

‘Ape Canyon’ Review
Image
Stars: Jackson Trent, Anna Fagan, Donny Ness, Clayton Stocker Myers, Lauren Shaye, Skip Schwink, Bob Olin, Emily Classen, Nolan Weis, Dom Dimercurio | Written by Harrison Demchick | Directed by Joshua Land

I love a good Bigfoot movie and there’s nowhere near enough of them. Most recently Willow Creek and even more so, Exists have been really entertaining Bigfoot movies. But Ape Canyon isn’t like those movies at all really and genre fans looking for a scary or action-packed-style film will be disappointed. Ape Canyon does offer much more though.

Ape Canyon follows Cal Piker and his sister as they embark on an adventure to see Bigfoot. Cal is on the verge of implosion, the viewer left to find out why, and his love of Bigfoot means he believes this will be a good distraction. He needs somebody with him though and his sister, who has always been there for him,...
