  • Matthew Scurfield performed the part of 'The Father' in Theatre de Complicite's "The Street of Crocodiles" (subtitled "A Dance of the Mind") at John Jay College Theatre as part of the Licoln Center Festival 1998.
  • Member of Shakespear's Globe Theatre since the prologue season in 1996. He has perfomed at the Globe in: "Two Gentlemen Of Verona" (1996 season) [The Duke of Milan / Antonio], "The Life Of Henry the Fifth" (1997 season) [The Duke of Exeter] and "A Chaste Main In Cheapside" (1997 season) [Mr. Yellowhead]
  • (1992) He acted in Simon McBurney and Schulz's play, "The Streets of Crocodiles" at the Cottesloe Theatre (Royal National) and Tour with Cesar Sarachu, Annabel Arden, directed by Simon McBurney OBE.
  • (February 1982) He acted in Bertolt Brecht's play, "Edward II", that was translated by Smith and Manheim for a Foco Novo Theatre Company production at the Round House Theatre in London, England with David Dixon, Billy McColl, Beth Morris, Ian Hogg and Karl Howman in the cast. Roland Rees was the director.
  • (1992) He aced in Bruno Schulz and Simon McBurney's play, "The Streets of Crocodiles," in a British National Production and Theatre De Complicite production at the Cottesloe Theatre in London, England and on tour with Cesar Sarachu and Annabel Arden in the cast. Simon McBurney was also director.
