If you’re a huge fan of fast-paced drama and powerful storytelling, the Chicago franchise has probably hooked you by now. What began with Chicago Fire all the way back in 2012 quickly turned into something bigger – a TV universe where first responders, police officers, and lawyers fight their own battles in the same city. That’s right – the franchise includes Chicago Fire, Chicago Pd, Chicago Med, and the short-lived Chicago Justice.
Each managed to have its own vibe and emotional pull. As fans, we’ve loved watching characters cross over between series, face life-or-death situations, and build real human connections. While some shows have completely nailed the formula, others have not so much.
Whether you’re into the adrenaline of firefighting, the intensity of police work, or the chaos of the ER, there’s something here for everyone. But let’s be honest – not all of them hit the same.

Chicago Pd has been doing well, but it just hasn’t been the same since losing certain characters! We take a look at the five we miss the most.
When a show runs 12 seasons, it’s only natural to shed some names in the cast. Chicago Pd hasn’t seen as much of a huge cast turnover since the first year but has lost a few characters as it went. Some aren’t too big; Sean Roman had a nice presence but was not important overall, while Vanessa Rojas only lasted one season and was forgettable.
Then, there are some major characters who brought true heart and power to the show. They were amazingly popular with the fans and often felt like the backbone of the series and its drama. Their departures all affected the show, and while it’s gone on, it seems something was lost with those gone.

We have been waiting a long, long time to see Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) get married. They have had a very bumpy road to the altar, but they have persevered, and we couldn't be happier for them. Unfortunately, a lot of the friends they've made along the way have left Chicago Pd.
Chicago Fire and Chicago Med have proven that weddings are as good a reason as any to bring back beloved characters. We saw Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) return in order to serve as the best man for his buddy, Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), on Fire, and we're hoping Chicago Pd uses their big union to do something similar. These are the characters we have on our fantasy guest list.

The new Chicago P.D. episode began with Asa Chapman walking into the precinct.
She met with Hank Voight, tossing him some looks about still being interested in him.
Deputy Chief Reid called a meeting that Voight had to go to. Chapman asked if Voight wanted to meet later for a drink, and he agreed.
Reid’s meeting was to reveal three hot spots in Chicago that he wanted Voight to deal with. They were gang-controlled, and Reid wanted them cleared out.
Much of the Chicago Police Department was brought in on the assignments.
Reid had a special assignment for Voight and Intelligence. Reid told Voight he needed “a friend” in a particular area.
Chicago P.D. Season 12, Episode 15 recap
Intelligence went to work on the area Reid assigned to them.
Shots rang out. Voight and Detective Kim Burgess responded. A bus driver had been shot. He died, and a new investigation began.

A new Chicago Med episode presents a small crossover with Chicago Fire.
It’s always more fun to have full three-show crossovers, but it’s also interesting when a character or two pops up on one of the other shows.
Such is the case for Chicago Med Season 10, Episode 15.
The new episode, Down In A Hole, debuts on Wednesday, March 5.
We hope some of the cliffhangers from recent episodes are resolved, but there are also folks from the Chicago Fire Department on hand for a daring rescue.
As a reminder, during the last episode of Chicago Med, Dr. Hannah Asher ended things (for good) with Dr. Mitch Ripley.
Ripley is still suspended, pending Sharon Goodwin possibly firing him.

One Chicago has proven to be one of NBC's most durable brands. Three of its shows have recently hit a decade on the air, and the 2025 crossover event proves that there's more demand than ever for stories set in this world. So what happened with Chicago Justice?
The fourth installment in the One Chicago franchise was scrapped after just one season, despite having the same baseline appeal and set as its peers. It even had the benefit of a lead character who had already been established on another show: Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda).

Unfortunately, it did now meet the same success. NBC confirmed the show was not renewed for a second season, chairman Robert Blatt even provided context as to why.

One of Blade star Wesley Snipes’ most underrated movies is now free to stream. The actor and martial artist, who is best recognized for his role as the Marvel vampire hunter, a role he reprized in last year’s Deadpool & Wolverine, puts in a reliably charismatic performance as a boxer behind bars in the action/boxing/prison drama, Undisputed. You can now discover the movie without spending a dime, and it deserves a second round.
Released back in 2002, Undisputed is written, produced and directed by Walter Hill, the filmmaker behind the likes of the nightmarish ‘70s thriller The Warriors and producer of the Alien franchise. The movie stars Ving Rhames as George "The Iceman" Chambers and Wesley Snipes as Monroe "Undisputed" Hutchen, a pair of fighters who find themselves facing off while serving time behind bars. The rest of the cast features several genre favorites, including Peter Falk, Michael Rooker,...

The new episode of Chicago Med began with the hospital receiving a patient influx.
Another local hospital had closed its doors, forcing more people to Med.
It was a chaotic atmosphere in the waiting room, with many sick patients trying to get help.
A National Accreditation Board of Hospitals representative was waiting among the patients.
The man was upset about being kept waiting, possibly hinting at a bad time for Gaffney since he could shut down hospitals.
Sharon Goodwin and Maggie Lockwood began jumping through hoops to keep the grumpy man content.
Goodwin feared the investigator was nit-picking to find problems and asked Maggie to keep everyone in line.

The new Chicago Fire episode has some images that tease an intriguing storyline for Firefighter Christopher Herrmann.
This new episode is slated to debut on Wednesday, February 26.
The latest installment is called Bar Time, and it will presumably further flesh out the storyline about Herrmann (played by David Eigenberg) considering retirement.
That was shocking information that Randy “Mouch” McHolland (Christian Stolte) stumbled upon during the previous episode.
In a key scene, Herrmann appeared more concerned with creating the perfect drink at Molly’s than becoming the new chief at Firehouse 51.
Herrmann also spoke about franchising Molly’s, which would keep him busy after leaving the Chicago Fire Department. But just how soon would he leave the Cfd?

A new Chicago Med episode rolls out Wednesday night with someone familiar behind the camera.
Brian Tee returned to the Chicago Med set for Season 10, Episode 14.
Tee directed the new episode called Acid Test. He has been behind the cameras at Med before, directing people he used to work with.
It’s noteworthy how his former scene partner has an important storyline in this new episode.
Tee used to play Dr. Ethan Choi in the hit NBC show. As such, he shared the screen a lot with Steven Weber (he plays Dr. Dean Archer).
Choi and Archer were in the military together before working for each other in the Ed. But Choi married April Sexton and is off doing other things now.

The One Chicago shows love their crossovers but which ones are the best and worst?
One Chicago has always been a fantastic universe to enjoy. Chicago Fire, Chicago Pd and Chicago Med are genius at how they make it so natural to coexist. Characters from one show can pop into another without looking obtrusive and distracting. There's also the great relationships across the shows from the Halstead brothers to Mouch and Trudy's marriage.
Crossovers between the shows are thus commonplace with NBC often doing special events across all three series. Some are better than others, with the best linking the shows together with a good storyline and character work. The weaker ones don't really offer a reason they need to be linked together when one episode could have done it.
For this list, these are full crossovers, not just characters from one show appearing in another. We're also only counting full One Chicago ones,...

Chicago P.D. rumors about Jon Seda returning to the show have been around for a while.
Jon played Detective Antonio Dawson for the first six seasons, exiting the show after the Season 7 premiere.
Antonio was a complicated character, but with all the drama surrounding him, the writers were just about out of room to expand him.
Years later, Chicago P.D. fans still miss Antonio, especially with more cast turnover in recent seasons.
The possibility of Jon returning to play Antonio again is an interesting one. Intelligence only has one detective (the recently promoted Detective Kim Burgess), so the team has space.
And the show that Jon has been on for a few years (La Brea) has ended, possibly freeing him up to star in a new show (or a very familiar one).

Created by Dick Wolf, the One Chicago universe began with the firefighting procedural drama, Chicago Fire in 2012. In the years that followed, the show has spun successful spinoffs in Chicago Med and Chicago P.D., with one failed spinoff in Chicago Justice, which was canceled after one season. In those years, there have been a plethora of stars who have plied their trade within the bounds of the franchise set in the Windy City. One of its earliest stars was Jon Seda, who played Detective Antonio Dawson, appearing in both Fire and P.D. with Chicago Med being the only show within the franchise he failed to make an appearance in.

Chicago is the third largest city in the United States. It is home to the country's fifth busiest airport, a great lake, six major professional sports teams, and the White Sox. It's famous for deep-dish pizza, loaded hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and Old Style lager. There's a big shiny thing out front of the Art Institute. John Dillinger was shot dead on the street here.
Chicago is also notable for inspiring an NBC franchise of procedurals that tout the efficacy of its public services. The "One Chicago" universe kicked off in 2012 when Derek Haas and Michael Brandt created "Chicago Fire." Though the drama about the brave members of the city's fire department was not initially a ratings smash, it pulled in a sizable-enough audience for NBC to greenlight "Chicago P.D." two years later. Figuring you simply can't have too much Chicago in your lineup, the network launched "Chicago Med" the following year.

In a sit-down conversation with uInterview, actor Jon Seda shared how he prepared for his role as a villain in his new film Into the Deep. Into the Deep follows modern-day pirates who kidnap a boat of tourists and force them to retrieve sunken drugs from shark-infested waters. Seda reflected on how he prepared for his role as a psychopath in the film. “When I was first presented with this, it’s always intriguing to hear…’Hey, will you play the antagonist?’,” he told uInterview founder Erik Meers. “It’s easy to just think, ‘I’ll just be a bad guy.’ But I like to find out — I think all of us have a bit of good and a bit of bad. You know, some of us lean towards one way a little more…to me it’s why, what causes or what has caused someone to lean more this way or that way…...

Jon Seda is TV royalty. The actor has been a staple in procedural dramas for over two decades, but One Chicago fans will always know him, and love him, as Antonio Dawson. Seda played the character for six seasons on Chicago Pd, and helped expand the franchise by spearheading the lone season of Chicago Justice.
Seda currently stars in Into the Deep, a pulse-pounding action thriller. The actor plays a villain opposite Scout Taylor-Compton and Stuart Townsend, which is fun flip on the gritty but noble Dawson on Pd. We were lucky enough to discuss Into the Deep with Seda, and we also got the lowdown on whether the actor would ever consider returning to the One Chicago franchise.

Natalie Zea and Eoin Macken’s sci-fi series on NBC, La Brea, ended after a three-season run in 2024. The series begins when a massive sinkhole opens at the La Brea Tar Pits in LA and pulls people, vehicles, and buildings into a time portal. The main characters end up in a location in 10,000 BC. The survivors’ search for a way back forms the plot of the three seasons.
There was no way the network could’ve pushed for more seasons, albeit a fourth season, after the challenges faced during the production of Season 3. The third season was much shorter than the first two seasons, with just six episodes as opposed to the 10 and 14 episodes of Seasons 1 and 2.

Last year, we learned that, forty-nine years after playing a major role in the Steven Spielberg classic Jaws (and fourteen years after making an appearance in Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3D), Richard Dreyfuss had been cast in another film that promises to be packed with aquatic thrills, Vigilante Diaries director Christian Sesma’s Into the Deep. “Into the Deep” mixes traditional shark thriller elements with a hostage drama, offering an alternative to standard storytelling. The film opens as Cassidy witnesses her father’s death by a shark, establishing her emotional path. The story examines both human and natural dangers, showing how human greed and environmental damage connect to modern social fears.
Director Christian Sesma’s underwater camera work brings to mind the visual approach of French New Wave directors like Truffaut, showing the ocean as both beautiful and dangerous. Though the flashback scenes sometimes interrupt the flow, the film keeps viewers engaged.

Full of cliche-riddled dialogue and bizarre flashbacks, this basic effort is only saved by a tacked-on lecture from Jaws star Dreyfuss
This pulpy yet weirdly woo-woo nautical thriller sets good-guy treasure hunters on a collision course with drug smugglers (bad guys) and great white sharks (morally neutral but still voracious). It’s like the plot was dreamed up by a hack who overheard his six-year-old pitting Lego figurines against one another. You start to expect that any minute Batman or Unikitty will join the fray which – frankly – would be an improvement. What we get instead is tired, cliche-riddled dialogue and bizarre flashbacks in which lead good guy Cassie (Scout Taylor-Compton) remembers how her oceanographer grandpa (Richard Dreyfuss!) encouraged her to face her fears in the water after she witnessed a great white kill her father when she was a kid.
Now an adult and an expert diver, Cass has returned...

Into the Deep releases January 24, 2025.
Richard Dreyfuss and sharks just don’t get along. I can relate. Sharks are my number one greatest fear and my phobia of the fish began with Steven Spielberg’s Jaws. Dreyfuss returns to the genre with Into the Deep, A film that blends elements of childhood trauma with the terrors of the ocean. Shark movies are a dime a dozen, and more often than not, they’re living in the saltwater shadow of Bruce the Shark. Into the Deep does its best to tread water, but ultimately fails to stay afloat.

As a child, Cassidy (Scout Taylor-Compton) witnesses her father’s death, eaten alive by sharks in the open ocean. Years later, on the anniversary of his death, she returns to the ocean with her husband, Gregg (Callum McGowan), for a leisurely cruise on a modest tourist boat.

Hank Voight has easily been one of the most polarizing characters in Chicago P.D. all through his time in the series. For the past decade, Voight has been recognized for his tough demeanor as the Intelligence leader and aggressive interrogation tactics toward suspects. He is a police Sergeant who always puts his unit and those in peril above himself. Voight takes drastic measures and goes beyond the law to take down murderers and criminals in Chicago.
Throughout his tenure on the show, Voight has experienced several scary moments, including losing individuals close to him and those he tried to keep out of trouble. The sergeant himself is creepy due to his intimidating presence and raspy voice when pulling information from villainous culprits. Since Voight plays his job close to the chest, he's been in many life-and-death situations, including a close call in the Chicago P.D. season 11 finale. As such,...

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Chicago Pd season 12, episode 9.
Chicago Pd has had a disappointing few seasons, but season 12 has corrected many of the problems, making the procedural worth watching again. When it originally premiered, Chicago Pd was the best One Chicago show. It focused on the lengths Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) was willing to go to keep Chicago safe and get justice for crime victims. However, in recent years, the series backed off of letting Voight push the envelope, turning it into a run-of-the-mill procedural when television is oversaturated with them.
Chicago Pd season 12 introduced patrol officer Kiana Cook (Toya Turner), marking the first time a patrol officer was involved in the action since Burgess (Marina Squerciati) was promoted in season 4. Cook was promoted quickly, joining the Intelligence Unit within a few episodes. However, the addition of this new character coincided with other changes that are helping making Chicago Pd watchable again,...

Chicago Pd has really had a rough go the last few seasons. It has lost Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos), both as individuals and a couple. They were vital parts of why Pd was so appealing, but the procedural drama has soldiered on and continued to introduce new and exciting characters.
Gwen Sigan knows that fans miss some of the older characters. She does too. During a recent chat with Screen Rant, the Chicago Pd showrunner gave her thoughts on Iu exits, and revealed which of the characters she would want to bring back into the fold if she could. To the surprise of many, it was not Halstead or Upton. It was Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda).

Warning: Spoilers for Chicago P.D. season 12Tracy Spiridakos' role as Detective Hailey Upton in Chicago P.D. was considered a fan-favorite in the hit NBC drama. Upton's relationship with Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), her father-daughter bond with Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), and her unrelenting work ethic on challenging cases made her a standout. After seven seasons on the show, Upton's departure from the Chicago Pd cast raised the question of who would replace her as detective and be the second highest-ranking member of the Intelligence unit.
Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) would eventually be promoted to detective in season 12, episode 6, "Pawns," after years of dedicated work alongside Hank's team. Burgess's upgraded status is possible due to Upton's departure and willingness to tackle more responsibility and leadership in Intelligence. Earlier this year, we learned that, forty-nine years after playing a major role in the Steven Spielberg classic Jaws (and fourteen years after making an appearance in Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3D), Richard Dreyfuss had been cast in another film that promises to be packed with aquatic thrills, Vigilante Diaries director Christian Sesma’s Into the Deep. The film is set to receive a digital, On Demand, and limited theatrical release on January 24th – and with that date just one month away, a trailer has arrived online! You can check it out in the embed above.
Scripted by Chad Law and Josh Ridgway – who have previously collaborated on the alligator movie The Flood, the Dolph Lundgren action thriller Section 8 (which was also directed by Sesma), the biker werewolf movie Howlers, and the mystery Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop – Into the Deep has the following synopsis: A group of divers...

Jaws made us all afraid to go in the water (unfairly giving the world a phobia of sharks) when it was released in 1975. Now, one of its original stars, Richard Dreyfuss, is saying "let's do it again!" Dreyfuss stars in the crazy new horror film, Into the Deep. Alongside Halloween's Scout Taylor-Compton, the first trailer teases the underwater carnage. But, if a shark with a lust for blood wasn't enough to terrify you, why not throw in some pirates just for the hell of it? Check out the new trailer for Into the Deep below!
You heard that right. While a giant great white shark lurks in the waters below, pirates roam the seas above, leaving Taylor-Compton caught between a rock and a hard place. Directed by Christian Sesma, (Section 8), Taylor-Compton plays Cassidy Branham, the embodiment of everyone's fears after watching Jaws for the first time. After her father was...

Jesse Lee Soffer's role as Detective Jay Halstead in Chicago P.D. was a significant presence for nearly 10 seasons on the NBC drama. His character's toughness, his intimate relationships with Erin Lindsay and Hailey Upton, and his quick thinking when going after criminals and murderers, lent themselves well to the show's storytelling potential. Halstead also had a tense and meaningful repertoire with his leader, Sergeant Hank Voight. Whenever Voight would go above the law in certain cases to protect the team, Jay had a problem with him because he was used to working strictly by the book.
After Soffer's stunning exit from the show (where Halstead left Hailey alone and was a major void in the Intelligence unit), the Chicago P.D. veteran went on to star in FBI: International, another drama by producer Dick Wolf. On the fourth season of the CBS show, Soffer portrays FBI agent Wesley "Wes" Mitchell,...

"The ocean is a dangerous wonder. That kingdom is your kingdom, too." Signature Ent has revealed an official trailer for Into the Deep, yet another new shark movie to dive in with. This one is from filmmaker Christian Sesma, best known for a lot of junk B-movie action thrillers. Richard Dreyfuss returns to face off against the ocean's most deadly predator in this jaws-some underwater thriller. A group of divers searching for sunken treasure witness the murder of drug dealers by modern-day pirates, but a killer great white is determined not to let any of them escape its waters. A daughter must confront her greatest fear to survive and make it home alive. The movie stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Jon Seda, Stuart Townsend, and AnnaMaria Demara, along with Dreyfuss. Among the many genres in film, gangster movies often produce terrific stories and electrifying drama on screen that has stayed with fans. Within the variety of gangster films that present narratives of crime, violence, wealth and interpersonal relationships, each movie captures viewers’ attention based on how well-constructed the production came to be. As essential to cinema as any other genre, the gangster movie also resonates with audiences due to the analyzation of darker subject matter and how effective the characters are when displayed in a vulnerable or cinematic light.
Given the sheer number of acclaimed gangster films throughout history, many of these riveting narratives have often come from the literary landscape. Depending on the story at hand, whether showcasing criminals from different historical eras, recounting true stories or a sweeping fictional tale, many gangster films work off of adapting rich source material that gives the building blocks in making a well-executed gangster movie.

Chicago Pd has some great detectives, but how do they rank?
When introduced as a “backdoor pilot” on Chicago Fire, Chicago Pd took a bit to get going. The original idea was to balance the show between the top-level Intelligence Unit and the patrol cops. As it’s gone on, that’s been shifted to just the Unit yet still shows some good police work amid the difficulties the cops face, not just from criminals but the politics of the Cpd.
The show has seen a lot of detectives come and go, and it’s tricky to figure out who’s really the best of the bunch. Note this is for detectives, so as terrific as Trudy Platt is, she won’t count. Here’s how each detective in Chicago Pd ranks from worst to best to show how all are dedicated to seeing justice done in the Windy City.

Chicago P.D. shows no signs of slowing down despite being in its 12th season. Showrunner Gwen Sigan recently revealed that the series plans to throw another serial killer storyline into the mix.
Sigan made the promise when TV Line asked if Season 12 would feature a new villain or two across multiple episodes. "There are a couple, yes," she said. The Chicago Med cast re-introduced Nurse Jackie during the show’s latest episode. It was also a hint that she would be around for a while.
We first met Nurse Jackie Nelson at the end of Chicago Med Season 9. Jackie popped up during the 12th episode to help Maggie Lockwood in the Ed.
It was an emotional story arc for Jackie, with Maggie worrying that Jackie was overworking herself. But there were other reasons to be concerned because Jackie was harming herself.
The writing presented a situation where viewers worried Jackie might have been hurt by someone else, but Maggie later found Jackie in the bathroom in distress. That’s when Maggie discovered the real story.
Dr. Daniel Charles was forced to put Jackie on a 72-hour psych hold when the nurse would address the problem. That may have been the help Jackie needed.

Following Tracy Spiridakos' exit after the season 11 finale, Chicago Pd season 12 adds a couple of new names to the show's cast list and brings back many familiar stars. The NBC police procedural series, created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead, revolves around the Intelligence Unit in the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department. Led by Sergeant Hank Voight since the beginning, Intelligence has experienced many changes over the years (e.g. Detective Hailey Upton leaving Chicago Pd), and, yet, five original actors remain in the Chicago Pd season 12 cast.
The original Chicago Pd cast members no longer on the show are Sophia Bush as Erin Lindsay, Jesse Lee Soffer as Jay Halstead, Jon Seda as Antonio Dawson, Elias Koteas as Alvin Olinsky, and Archie Kao as Sheldon Jin.

One theory about who will be Hailey Upton's replacement on Chicago Pd has been debunked by the latest update from the head writer. Upton joined the series in season 4, and was involved in both personal and professional storylines, most notably her romance with Jay Halstead. Halstead left both her and the unit in season 10, leaving her floundering, and after a harrowing mission to rescue Voight from a serial killer, she left Chicago in search of a more fulfilling job. Thus, Upton will be one of the most central characters not returning to a One Chicago series in 2024.
Upton's absence leaves a gaping hole in the Intelligence Unit. She was not only one of the people who had worked longest in the unit, but was also Voight's right-hand woman. There’s no question that Homicide: Life on The Street should be considered part of the Dick Wolf universe.
The gritty 1990s police drama was revolutionary in several ways, some of which make it feel refreshingly modern when watching it on Peacock several decades after it ended.
It also has one direct connection with Law & Order: Svu, and its fingerprints are all over some of Dick Wolf’s other shows.

Amid questions about Hailey Upton's replacement, Chicago Pd season 13's latest police officer is revealed in a brand new behind the scenes image. Just a season after Chicago Pd's last big exit with Jesse Lee Soffer's Jay Halstead, Intelligence once again went through another massive loss in the season 12 finale when Upton bade her farewell. Tracy Spiridakos entered One Chicago after Erin Lindsey's departure, but while she wasn't an original character, she quickly became a fan-favorite. This makes it tricky to find her successor.

It’s been an interesting few seasons for the One Chicago shows with many cast shakeups across Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago Pd – the latter of which has bid farewell to two major characters within the last two seasons.
Cast changes are something we’ve become accustomed to, but there is no denying that the recent exits of Jesse Lee Soffer and Tracy Spiridakos have left Chicago Pd in quite a unique position. Soffer and Spiridakos were two integral parts of the show and were also one of the show’s most popular and central couples up until Soffer’s exit in season 10. Their exits from the series have left a major void in the show, one that could be filled with some help from a former member of the case: Jon Seda.

But if the Aussies get wind of you calling their homeland ‘primeval’ they’ll send Paul Hogan around to have a word.

Chicago Justice was an epic fail it was canceled after one season due to low ratings and lack of sustainability. Chicago Med's quality has declined as original cast members exit, affecting the engaging storylines and character development. Chicago Pd and Chicago Fire are the two best One Chicago shows.
One of the most popular and longest-running franchises on network TV is One Chicago on NBC, which started when Derek Haas and Michael Brandt created Chicago Fire and released it in the fall of 2012, and was consecutively followed by three spinoffs Chicago Pd, Chicago Med, and Chicago Justice. Every show in the One Chicago shared universe has had varying degrees of success. Some TV series have performed better than others, while one in particular was an epic fail many would rather forget about. Nevertheless, NBC's procedural franchise has prevailed over the years, resulting in major milestones and impressive accomplishments.
