Almost a week after its long-awaited release, Evolution Studios’ PlayStation 4 exclusive DriveClub is still encountering problems.

The studio’s über-realistic racing title launched headfirst into an array of server-related issues, which prompted the developing team to establish a one-in, one-out matchmaking policy in order to ease traffic across the board — a scheme that has postponed the PlayStation Plus Edition of the game indefinitely.

Taking to Twitter, DriveClub’s lead director, Paul Rustchynsky, offered his solidarity to budding racers, stating that Evolution had no way of foreseeing the ongoing issues.

Clemenger Bbdo Melbourne was named agency of the year at the Melbourne Advertising & Design Club Awards tonight.

The agency won top honours for the second year running. However, rival Gpy&R Melbourne – which won more lions at Cannes this year than any Australian agency – did not enter for the second consecutive year. Last year, Patts Ecd Ben Coulson cited cost reasons for not supporting the event, which is Melbourne’s top awards show.

A giant frog with delusions of grandeur? Nope, you haven't stumbled upon an episode of Dangermouse in which our hero's arch enemy - and dead ringer for Ann Widdecombe - Baron Greenback is plotting revenge, but in fact an episode of Doctor Who called Four To Doomsday.

Sounds crazy? Well, you'd be right. But then only in the previous season, we had a talking cactus with designs on the world, so the term "silly" is neither here nor there. Even so, Four To Doomsday requires an awful lot of tolerance on the viewer's part when it comes to dramatic credibility.

Maybe the common link here is Terence Dudley, who, after directing 1980's Meglos, switched his hat to writing. It has to be said though that his contributions to Doctor Who can charitably be described as eccentric. Four To Doomsday gives the impression of a writer who hasn't seen Doctor Who much.

Big Finish announced today details of the upcoming three-story season of Fifth Doctor stories, featuring Peter Davison as the Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Janet Fielding as Tegan and Mark Strickson as Turlough, the first time this Tardis team had acted together since 1983.

According to executive producer Nicholas Briggs, "The three stories were recorded just after Christmas, and everyone was on brilliant form. It was quite thrilling to hear [the cast] recreating their roles so authentically. These adventures sound just like they've fallen through a time warp!"

He aded: “The mood during the recording was quite rambunctious and everyone had such a brilliant time that I wouldn’t be surprised to see this team reunited again some time in the near future…”
