“I don’t get up in the morning with that, I get up because of her [my daughter]. She’s the reason I’m still here and trying,” Christina began.

James Gandolfini’s portrayal of Tony Soprano in HBO’s The Sopranos cemented his legacy as one of television’s greatest actors. A slow burn across six seasons, fans got to witness an extraordinary breakdown of character when it came to Tony Soprano, in the end.

One scene, in particular, completely personified this transformation. However, its sheer brutality meant that HBO executives were initially hesitant, yet show creator David Chase refused to back down.

The scene occurred in season 1, episode 5, College, in which Tony Soprano takes his daughter Meadow (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) to various college open days while tracking a known FBI informant.

The scene in question was the moment Tony Soprano, a charismatic antihero, transformed from a troubled but relatable family man into a cold-blooded killer.

After resolving his highly publicized feud with the Two and a Half Men showrunner, Charlie Sheen made a brief return to television with an uncredited cameo in the 2023 comedy series Bookie. Now, the actor is expected to make his comeback with a new show, Ramble On.

Created by Doug Ellin, the mind behind Entourage, the dramedy follows Hollywood veterans, including Sheen, as they attempt to rebuild their careers. The four-time Golden Globe nominee addressed people who assume “celebrities are walking around running everything” in Los Angeles as she noted “a myriad of groups of humans” have been impacted.

“You know what I have words for? F—ing people who are saying that it’s, you know, good. ‘It’s Hollywood and those stupid Hollywood people’ — like, you’ve gotta be kidding me,” she told friend Jamie-Lynn Sigler on their MeSsy podcast.

“We’re a small portion of the city. I mean, this is a city of people that are working their asses off at fast food chains or, you know, f*cking builders and painters, and it’s a myriad of groups of humans here,” added Applegate. “So to say ‘good riddance’ is real sick, and I’m not liking that whatsoever.

You can’t have victory with a little tiger’s blood. Charlie Sheen is going all in with his next project, a comeback endeavor titled Ramble On – and it’s tied to some key players from HBO’s bro comedy Entourage.

Remember, Charlie Sheen was once the highest-paid male TV actor ever, something the trailer for Ramble On is keen to mention. Once he is introduced, we see the man himself guiding Kevin Connelly and Kevin Dillon – who also play themselves – through his abode, pointing out his 22’-deep pool. From there, he lays it out for the boys: “Here’s the deal. I got no money. I got no offers. No love. Nada…What are you paying?”

As per the press release, Ramble On has the following plot: “Immersed in real life, Ramble On is about Hollywood veterans looking to reinvent their voices, alongside up and comers looking to establish their own.

Speaking on the Wednesday, December 11 edition of the MeSsy podcast, Christina Applegate told co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler and guest Liz Feldman about how her fall on the set of the latter’s Dead To Me should have been a wakeup call.

“I remember falling that day,” the actress said, recalling it happening as she was filming a running sequence in a field.

Christina Applegate has revealed how she overlooked an early symptom of multiple sclerosis (Ms) while filming her Netflix series Dead to Me. Speaking on the latest episode of her MeSsy podcast, which she co-hosts with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also has Ms, Applegate explained how she fell over while filming a running sequence in a field. She didn’t realize it at the time, but this was an early sign of her Ms. “Hi, first sign of Ms!” Applegate said of the fall. “So, not to bring everybody down, but there it was.” The Emmy-winning actress revealed her Ms diagnosis in August of 2021 and has since retired from acting. She and The Sopranos alum Sigler share their health stories on their MeSsy podcast. Dead to Me creator and executive producer Liz Feldman was a guest on the latest episode of the podcast and recalled times when Applegate would lose her balance on set.

Tony Soprano’s strong-willed daughter, Meadow Soprano, was nothing like her parents in The Sopranos. When the series ended, the character had gotten engaged and had big plans for her future life. Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who had a singing background, initially thought that she was auditioning to sing soprano. She was cast in the series in 1997 and shot the pilot episode for HBO.

However, when she returned to film the other episodes of the show in the summer of 1998, she had lost 35 pounds. She hid a serious health condition, an eating disorder called Exercise Bulimia, when she appeared for the audition for the role of Meadow.

The After Dark Horrorfest was a game-changer back when it premiered in 2006. Not only was this film festival devoted to the horror genre, it was accessible. Founder Courtney Solomon (An American Haunting) chose the best possible venue for this “ultimate celebration of horror”: the big screen. There have been four “sequels” to the After Dark Horrorfest since then, but for many horror hounds like myself, the original one is a bit more meaningful. It was an exciting time for discovery, developing one’s own taste, and for learning what the genre had to offer in the non-mainstream sector.

The 76-year-old Matlock star addressed her decision not to have reconstruction surgery following her breast cancer diagnosis 12 years ago in a conversation on MeSsy with Christina Applegate & Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

During the interview, she said she enjoyed “not having breasts” after undergoing a double mastectomy following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2012. She previously had ovarian cancer in 2003.
