It’s been far too long since we’ve seen a Dancing With the Stars: All Stars season, and fans like me want one sooner, rather than later.

Not only has it been too long, but there’s only been one All Stars season thus far, and it seems we’re at the point where another should happen.

DWTS is heading to Season 34, which already has at least one confirmed cast member with Robert Irwin, but as fans, we always want as much of our favorite show as we can possibly get.

Deion Sanders certainly like the attention. The former NFL star has signed up to feature in another documentary series – this time for Netflix.

Sanders will be the subject of Prime Time. It comes after Netflix rival Amazon aired three seasons of Coach Prime, which follows his Jackson State University Tigers team.

Netflix said that the series will “explore Sanders’ evolution from a two-sport phenom to a culture-defining coach and media personality” and open up about his relationship with his biological father, surviving an attempted suicide and near-death health scares.

It’s unclear whether it will include footage of the recent NFL draft, where his son Shedeur Sanders fell to the fifth round after many expected him to be a top pick.

The three-part series will also feature Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, Ice Cube and Kirk Franklin.

It will be produced by Smac Entertainment, which produced Coach Prime, Skydance Sports and NFL Films.

“I’ve made the bittersweet decision to say farewell—for now—to this podcast,” Burke said in an Instagram video. “You, my loyal listeners, have been my rock and my backbone, especially during moments of controversy. The only reason I kept going with my head held high was because of your unwavering support and belief in me. Although she received an invite, former Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Cheryl Burke revealed she won’t appear at the show’s milestone 500th episode.

The 40-year-old appeared in 25 seasons of the dance competition series and won the Mirrorball Trophy in her first two with singer Drew Lachey and former NFL player Emmitt Smith.

Jenna Johnson has revealed her dream dance partners as Dancing With the Stars Season 33 approaches.

Johnson appeared in DWTS Season 32, where she tried to guide model Tyson Beckford to the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Unfortunately, Beckford was eliminated earlier than Johnson’s previous dance partners due to an average score of 15.0 per dance.

Netflix is adding to its sports docuseries lineup with three new shows centered on the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics as well as Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

In partnership with the International Olympic Committee, Netflix is doing docuseries on gymnastics great Simone Biles, the U.S. men’s basketball team, and Olympic track athletes, the last of which was ordered last year and is now titled “Sprint.”

The Biles series is titled “Simone Biles: Rising,” and will debut its first part in July ahead of the Summer Games. The series consists of four 45-minute episodes. The official description states:

Adrian Peterson has made it to the fourth week of competition on Dancing With the Stars and he’s getting ready for “Disney100 Night“!

The 38-year-old NFL All-Star is paired with pro dancer Britt Stewart this season, and so far, they have danced the Salsa, the Samba and the Quickstep.

For “Disney100 Night,” they will be dancing the Viennese Waltz set to the song “Baby Mine” from the movie Dumbo.

Ahead of this week’s live show, we caught up with Adrian and got the scoop on his experience on the show so far, facing the challenges of learning a new dance each week, any advice he got from other NFL stars who have competed on the show and more.

America’s Team and the world’s largest streaming service seem like a match made in heaven. Now they’re a match made on Earth as well, as Puck News reports Netflix has won the bidding for rights to a new docuseries featuring the Dallas Cowboys and their billionaire owner and general manager Jerry Jones.

Netflix had to beat out sports giant ESPN to secure the rights, and will pay $50 million to stream the series. It will feature never-before-seen footage, as well as interviews from Cowboys legends like Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin. Those who have screened the series already have given it favorable comparisons to “The Last Dance,” the docuseries featuring Michael Jordan’s run with the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls.

While the Lombardi Trophy has remained out of reach during the past quarter-century-plus, Jones and his family have shepherded the rise of the Cowboys to the status of the most valuable franchise in professional sports.

The first project to come out of the recently-announced NFL Films and Skydance Sports joint venture will be a “defining” docuseries about the Dallas Cowboys and the team’s owner, Jerry Jones.

The yet to be named series “will reach deep into NFL Films’ vast archive of never-before-seen content, and will trace Jones’ remarkable rise from the son of an Arkansas community store owner to being one of the most innovative and influential leaders in sport,” per the companies. It will also feature and spotlight key figures in the rise of the Cowboys, including players like Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith, and the media mogul Rupert Murdoch.

Jones acquired the Cowboys in 1989 for $140 million, fresh off a losing season and with the team losing $1 million per month. Since then the team has become one of the most popular in the NFL, and one of the most valuable professional teams in all of sports.

Dancing With The Stars producers allegedly turned down Cheryl Burke's offer to become a judge on the show. Cheryl was one of the original professional dancers in the competition. Cheryl first joined the show during DWTS season 2 in 2006. Over the years, she took home two Mirrorball Trophy wins, first with Drew Lachey in her debut season and then again the following season with Emmitt Smith.

Unfortunately for Cheryl, becoming a DWTS judge may not be in her future after all after retiring as a professional dancer. According to comments Cheryl made on the Talk Is Jericho podcast, DWTS producers allegedly turned down her offer to become a judge.

The Dancing With The Stars Live 2023 tour kicks off in January, and fans cannot wait to find out everything about this spectacular celebration of dance. The first DWTS tour began in December 2006 after season 2, and continued until February 2007. Celebrities on that first tour included season 1 star Joey McIntyre, season 2 winner Drew Lachey and co-star Lisa Rinna, and season 3 winner Emmitt Smith, with co-stars Joey Lawrence and Harry Hamlin. The professional dancers were Kym Johnson, Karina Smirnoff, Edyta Å.liwiÅ.ska, Louis van Amstel, and Cheryl Burke.

The most recent DWTS Live 2022 tour included professional dancers Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Artem Chigvintsev, Sasha Farber, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, Britt Stewart, and season 30 winner Daniella Karagach. Her partner, Iman Shumpert, and season 29 winner Kaitlyn Bristowe also made appearances on the tour. Mark Ballas returned to Dancing With The Stars for season 31 and took home the Mirrorball Trophy with his partner Charli D’Amelio. However, the pro dancer does not know if he will be back for next season quite yet. The pair won after Mark had taken a five-year break from the hit reality show.

On Dancing With The Stars, winning this season was Mark’s third time getting the Mirrorball Trophy, as he won season 6 with partner Kristi Yamaguchi and season 8 with partner Shawn Johnson. Mark told US Weekly, “I don’t know if I’m coming back. You know the older I get, I try to stay very present in the moment, you know, and I think that was like a big part of creating these dances.” He hasn’t competed on the show since 2017, so it is a huge accomplishment to come back and win right out of the gate.

Amid her exit from Dancing With The Stars, Cheryl Burke is paying tribute to her numerous celeb partners over the years. After hinting at it for several months, the pro dancer announced that season 31 would be her last. She made her final bow in the season finale, which aired on Disney + on Monday, Nov. 21.

On Saturday, Nov. 26, Cheryl posted a reel to her Instagram page.
