A music video promoting John Legend's song "Everybody Knows" has come out. Capturing the singer walking down the sidewalk, it features a couple involving in a heated argument in the street but later on making it up. It also shows another pair sitting on a bench in the park, reading a book together.

"Everybody Knows" is a ballad single written by a team comprising of John Stephens, Kawan Prather, James Ho, and Terrence Smith. The track appears on John's third studio album "Evolver" which has been in the U.S. stores since October 28, 2008 through Columbia Records.

"I think each album is in some ways a reaction to the last album," Legend said about his latest effort. "I think the last album was more kind of mellow and more intimate, more romantic, more explicitly vintage and classic. And this one, because I had just done that album, I didn't want to do it again.

A look at John Legend's music video to promote his new song "Everybody Knows" has been provided through a behind-the-scenes footage on the set of the video shoot. The scenes in the video are divided into three, rooftop, park, and bar. On "Park Scene", he is seen walking down the sidewalk during a rainy day.

"I think it's hard to find a general theme [for the album]. It's a lot of love and relationship songs, as people probably would expect from me," John said commenting on the theme brought by the record. "There's not an overarching lyrical theme that goes throughout. It's just a bunch of good songs, I think.
