From everything we’ve gathered so far about Ridley Scott’s upcoming historical epic, Napoleon, it will be exactly that - epic. Boasting a cast led by Academy Award-winner Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) in the titular role as the French Emperor with Academy Award-nominee Vanessa Kirby (Pieces of a Woman) by his side as Empress Joséphine, the filmmaker’s latest project is quickly becoming larger-than-life. On top of what is certain to be some of the best performances we’ve seen all year, teasers have revealed action-packed battle sequences that will give everything we’ve seen before a run for its money. “Welcome to Tromaville, New Jersey — a small American town, terrorized by criminals. The town’s corrupt mayor sits idly by while muggers, robbers and teenage punks victimize helpless citizens. Among the residents of Tromaville is Melvin, a nerdy, emaciated janitor at the local health club. That is, until he becomes The Toxic Avenger!

A gang of thugs devise a cruel hoax that goes horribly wrong as Melvin is cast through a third story window and into a vat of hazardous toxic waste. However, an unexpected metamorphosis takes place. As the chemicals take hold of his body, Melvin turns into the Toxic Avenger, doer of good and brutal mauler of evil!

Anchor Bay Films and Troma Entertainment proudly announce that Return to Nuke 'Em High Volume 1, the film that marks the return of Lloyd Kaufman to the director's chair and kicks off Troma Entertainment's 40th Anniversary celebration, will have exclusive theatrical engagements in New York and Los Angeles starting in January 2014.

Return to Nuke 'Em High Volume 1 will open at the following venues:

January 10th - Village East Cinemas, 189 2nd Ave, New York.

January 17th - Laemmle's NoHo 7 Theaters, 5240 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood
