Gio (Giovanni Mazza) discovered who his biological parents were in the most unfortunate way. Overhearing Lulu (Alexa Havins) confronting Lois (Rena Sofer) about the truth was heartbreaking to watch. He was devastated, and who can blame him? The whole world was lying to him, including the only mother he ever knew.

Some time has passed since the news exploded at the Nurse’s Ball, but Gio is angrier than ever. He has moved in with Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Anna (Finola Hughes), and will not speak to most of the Quartermaines, including Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).

His anger is understandable, but it may be time to take a breath and hear them out.

ABC on Monday announced that the cast of “General Hospital” vs. the cast of “The Young and the Restless” episode of “Celebrity Family Feud” will air on Thursday, July 31, as part of the popular game show’s current 11th season.

Hosted by Steve Harvey, the soap opera-focused episode will air at 8:30 p.m. Et/Pt on the network immediately following an episode featuring DJ and music producer Diplo vs. actress Laverne Cox, which airs at 8:00 p.m. Et/Pt.

As previously reported, the soap stars participating in the episode include Finola Hughes, Donnell Turner, Rena Sofer, Tanisha Harper and Maurice Benard from “General Hospital”, and Joshua Morrow, Michelle Stafford, Lauralee Bell, Melissa Claire Egan and Bryton James from “The Young and the Restless.”

The episode was taped in May in Atlanta.

“We were definitely feuding,” joked Hughes during an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark” in May.

The time has come to say goodbye…to the CBS Television City studio that has been home to The Bold and the Beautiful since its inception in 1987. CBS is redeveloping the property into smaller studios, causing shows like B&b to have to find a new home. And they did, as the soap will be setting up shop in the Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood, a historic studio complex known for its glitzy Hollywood roots. While the show promises to build bigger, better, and more glamorous sets, the cast and crew found the exit to be bittersweet.

The Final Curtain

Several B&b stars took to social media to say their goodbyes to the iconic studio, which was once home to shows like All in the Family and The Carol Burnett Show.
