The three-time Golden Globe nominee announced a 20th anniversary soundtrack concert, which will happen March 29, 2025 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, benefitting homeless shelter The Midnight Mission. Tickets are now available on Ticketmaster.

A one-night concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Garden State” – which Braff wrote, directed and starred in – will take place March 29, 2025, at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Most viewers probably don’t remember this, but Bradley Cooper starred as a fictionalized version of the late Anthony Bourdain in a Fox sitcom based off his best-selling book “Kitchen Confidential.”

In the series of the same name, Cooper portrayed “Jack Bourdain,” an executive chef of an upscale restaurant called Nolita. The short-lived series ran for just one season on Fox during the 2005-06 TV season, averaging around 4 million viewers, according to Nielsen. Although 13 episodes were made, Fox only aired four of them.

Is “Ghosted” coming back?

That’s a question on viewers’ minds as upfronts week comes to a close, with Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and The CW all having announced their fall programming schedules as of Thursday. ‘Cause some of those slates have holes in them, meaning the statuses of almost half a dozen shows on broadcast television are still up in the air.

Look, we can accept the fact that not every series will be saved like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” — not every show should be. But come on, networks — minus ABC and The CW, who have already killed or renewed everything they’re going to — fans need to hear one way or another whether their favorite programs will be returning this fall, especially for ones that have a crazy-devoted fanbase.

“The Grinder” may have been canceled after a well-received (if sparsely watched) first season, but you can’t keep Sam Seaborn down for long. Rob Lowe has just been announced as having joined season two of “Code Black,” the hospital drama undergoing significant changes for its sophomore run.

Lowe will play series regular Col. Ethan Willis, a military doctor who relocates from a combat hospital in Afghanistan to join Angels Memorial and share his knowledge with the civvies. He’s joined by fellow newcomers Noah Gray-Cabey, Emily Tyra and Nafessa Williams; season-one regulars Bonnie Somerville and Raza Jaffrey, meanwhile, will not be returning to the CBS drama.

Rob Lowe is joining CBS’ retooled Code Black as the medical drama’s new co-lead, TVLine has learned. The actor, fresh off his one-season run on Fox’s The Grinder, will play Colonel Ethan Willis, a doctor in the U.S. Military’s prestigious Combat Casualty Care research program who has been pulled out of a combat hospital in Afghanistan and embedded at Angels Memorial to teach what the military has learned about combat medicine. His aggressive, rule-breaking style is greeted enthusiastically by Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden), but not by all the other doctors.

Code Black is getting an infusion of new blood, adding three actors — including a Heroes alum Noah Gray-Cabey — in major recurring roles, TVLine has learned.

Also joining the CBS medical drama’s rejiggered Season 2: Flesh and Bone star Emily Tyra and One Life to Live alum Nafessa Williams. The trio will fill help fill the void left by departing series regulars Bonnie Somerville (Christa) and Raza Jaffrey (Neal).

Does 'code green' mean go? The Code Black TV show on CBS has been renewed for a second season. The news broke as part of the CBS May Upfront presentation. This news was expected, as with fellow freshman series, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Code Black was given network permission to secure the writing staff in what's called and "if/come" deal.

Code Black takes place in an Emergency Room in Los Angeles where underfunding and understaffing pile huge pressures on its staff. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Raza Jaffrey, Bonnie Somerville, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Luis Guzman.

The series debuted in late September 2015 to a 1.54 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.58 million viewers. That was an okay start for the 10pm drama though the CBS execs were surely hoping for better.
