- Began a music career when at the age of 17 she was discovered in a club in NYC singing with her high school band named " Fearful Symmetry". She had a development deal with RCA records and then Interscope Records when she moved to Los Angeles at the age of 22. After getting dropped from Interscope she finally turned to pursuing getting a theatrical agent and acting full-time. She waited tables,worked part time jobs in LA, while modeling and writing music and recording demos for other artists until booking her first Leading Role on the mini- series "Shake Rattle and Roll" on CBS in 1999. She sang in that alongside Terence Trent D'Arby and B.B King amongst others.
- She wrote and recorded the song "Winding Road" for the Grammy-winning soundtrack of her then boyfriend Zach Braff's movie Garden State (2004). He specifically requested she record the song for the soundtrack.
- Was mugged in the early morning hours of October 18, 2008 after leaving a Hollywood launch party for a new T-Mobile cell phone by a group of men, one of whom shot and seriously wounded her friend.
- Sang female lead with Band From TV, which also featured Hugh Laurie, James Denton, Bob Guiney, and Greg Grunberg. The Band recorded an album called "Hoggin All the Covers" for charity which is available on Amazon . Bonnie is known for singing Janis Joplin covers and Blues in the band.
- Irish- American. Her maternal and paternal great-grandparents both immigrated to America from Ireland during the Famine. Her great-grandmother Nora McBride's farm is still family-owned and run in Sligo, Ireland.
- When Bonnie is not busy working, she enjoys singing in local clubs, playing volleyball and skiing.

- Grew up in Flatbush, Brooklyn, went to Poly Prep High School in Bay Ridge, where she was a cheerleader.
- Studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
- Sang backup on Joshua Radin's very first record.
- She filmed a cameo for A Star Is Born (2018), but her scene was cut. She previously worked with Bradley Cooper on Kitchen Confidential (2005).
- Her very first acting job was as an extra in the movie, City Hall (1996)
- Was on the cover of Stuff magazine in May 2004, issue titled, "Girls of The O.C. (2003)"
